The worst place ever, they do more traumatizing than good. <br> <br>I watched women abuse the system and be homeless not abused. <br> <br>Can you imagine being abused and fighting to start over and being housed among others who are drug addicts and fresh off the streets or just homeless and not abused? <br> <br>The shelter was very nasty. <br> <br>Lice break out. <br> <br>No funding to help you start over. <br> <br>Where do all the donations go? <br> <br>Under staff. <br> <br>None of the things on the website were in place. <br> <br>Staff had very nasty attitudes. <br> <br>The only people are winning are those homeless, the staff and Stacey. <br> <br>Not the abused focused on leaving staying gone and starting over from their abusive relationship. <br> <br>I returned home. <br> <br>I was so traumatized from what I witnessed and experienced. <br> <br>I think Stacey Riley is a fraud. <br> <br>

If it weren't for Loaves & Fishes I would go HUNGRY. <br>I'm not referring to "hunger" as-"Oops! Should I go to McDonald's or the casino buffet?!" <br>The Staff are Compassionate as well as Kind. GOD BLESS THEM.

This nonprofit empowers the youth on life skills and social skills. They teach basic life life skill classes on a monthly basis to ages 5-9 and professional life skill classes on a weekly basis. The professional life skill classes are financial literacy, health care, mindfulness, and the importance of education. My children reminds me to take them to these classes because they really enjoy them. The organization also take the social club out on free monthly outings to help build social skills with their peers. The organization has been a blessing to my children and look forward to the future events. Thank you ENG!

I am a volunteer for southern grace angelic gowns. After going through 2 miscarriages I decided to join this group to help make angel gowns. I wanted to be able to help moms who have gone through what I have went through and i wanted to be able to continue to heal from my loss while doing it. I am so glad I found this nonprofit to help out. It is very special to my heart and I have made a great friend in the process.

God is at work here. Cornerstone Foundation (and its Honduran counterpart, Associacion Piedra Angular de Honduras) began a work 26 years ago in a part of northern Honduras where there was basically no infrastructure. Today this Christian, charitable organization has built and maintains a full-service hospital outreach (Hospital Loma de Luz), a children's sanctuary/foster home, a bilingual school, vocational training, chaplaincy training, and much more. On any given day, the sum total of our resources is not enough to accomplish what gets accomplished here. Yet it happens. It is only because through God the impossible is possible. Clearly God is indeed at work here. <br>--Sally<br>

I am a member of the Junior Auxiliary of Biloxi-Ocean Springs, a non-profit organization, whose mission is to improve the community by meeting the physical, medical, financial, and educational needs of the children, youth, and families in our service areas of east Harrison and west Jackson counties and surrounding areas of the Mississippi Gulf Coast through 12 service programs; one of which is called 'School Aid'.<br /><br />Each of our members are assigned to a school within one of our area school districts to help provide clothing, school supplies, medical, dental, and financial assistance for children that are in need. This is all in partnership with the school counselors, nurses, and teachers. Once a student in need is identified by the school, the assigned member is called to fill the request as needed. We find that working directly with the schools opens up many needs that otherwise we would not know.<br /><br />We recently received the following letter and attached image from a local school counselor after a child received the clothing and shoes our organization was able to provide due to funds raised. The member assigned to the particular school fulfilled the request and dropped off the items to the school within 48 hours. While we receive letters frequently from our school contacts, this particular messages warmed our hearts and brought tears to our eyes. <br />I have removed names for the protection of the individuals involved and placed initials in their place. <br /><br />Dear L,<br />S was so excited with her new clothes and shoes!! I could not get the adorable sandals off her feet once she put them on, and she absolutely loved her tennis shoes too. They were so cute and perfect and she needed them so badly. <br /><br />Sending you a picture of how badly she needed them. You can see the size she was wearing. I am not sure how she was walking. She had blisters on her toes and her toe nails were bent back and curled up because the only tennis shoes she had were so small. <br /><br />Please thank L for me. She got me the clothes before we dismissed and I had time to get them to her and try them on her before she left for the day. <br /><br />I just want you and all of JA to genuinely feel the difference you make for these children. I think you will see that in the second pic I have attached. Her smile says it all!!<br />
