Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports is one of the best communities to be a part of. This is my first year volunteering, and of course, I wish I had started sooner! The staff is extremely knowledgeable, great communicators, amazing teachers, and a lot of fun. They are wonderful role models for volunteers, and their intentional connections with clients are top-tier. The environments where we recreate are beautiful. You learn a great deal and experience immense joy while doing it. Thank you to VT Adaptive for creating a safe space for everyBODY!

Our experience with Rick and Circus Smirkus was outstanding. Rick was able work with a multi-age group and keep all the students invested in the circus experience. All of the students thoroughly enjoyed the program and the teachers were able incorporate the circus theme in all subject areas. It was a individual confidence builder, developed the students large and fine motor skills as well as team cooperation. I highly recommend Rick and the Circus Smirkus program. The Bondville Fair is the oldest continuously operated fair in Vermont. We operate solely by volunteers and depend heavily on our community donations. The fair is the weekend before Labor Day for three solid days of fun

Biking is Life! I've been on bike trails since I was an infant in a trailer behind my dad's bike. Life changed a year ago due to a spinal cord injury sustained in a mountain biking accident. I'm now a quadriplegic. While in rehab, I participated in an adaptive cycling program and realized that I can cycle again! Adaptive equipment is quite expensive, so I was so glad to find out about Kelly Brush Foundation grant opportunities. <br> <br>The Kelly Brush Foundation was very generous and will help me reach my goal to get back on the trail (tri)cycling this year. <br> <br>I’m proud to be part of #TeamKBF <br>

They are a fantastic group of people. The things that they do for the community and their cause is something to be truly commended.

Having worked closely with the staff at Sara Holbrook, their passion, vision and thoughtfulness for the families of the center is topnotch and I couldn't be prouder to serve on this Board.

My youngest daughter (12) attended OCCC last year and my oldest (14) was a intern counselor. For both kids it was an amazing experience. They both came home each day with smiles on their faces and each day kept them busy and happy (and most days, worn out). It's an old fashioned camp that focuses on games, social connection, creativity and physical activity. My kids felt at home there and I look forward to sending them again next year.

This nonprofit is not about sports, it is about building the communities of Arlington, Sunderland and Sandgate back up. We hold summer and school vacation camps for kids, we have some programming for adults as well. Although we are small now, we have great plans for the future.

Good morning. As an Essex Junction resident, not only do I enjoy using the Tree Farm recreational paths to walk my dog, but I also enjoy the many times that I have watched my nieces and nephews playing their various sports on your grounds. As a 78 year old woman who walks the pat several times a week, I feel safe walking their alone. However, the last two Sundays and I and my 11 lb. min poodle were walking around 10 A.M. I encountered two, what I thought were runaway dogs. Both the large white dog and the smaller dog attacked me down to the ground and tried to attack my dog. I'm sure their intentions were to play, but because I did not know these dogs, I was petefried. In addition, an elderly man, who could not speak english and who was pushing a toddler in a stroller, was also very frightened when the dogs approach them. He just stood there frozen. I soon realized that the dogs belonged to one of the parks' employees who was working at the tree farm. This Sunday, after the dogs once came out of the blue and tried to attack me and my dog, I approached him who I believed was the owner of the dogs, and told him what happened last week, and again this week, and asked why his dogs were not on a leach. He immediately said that the park is a privately owned par, which I did not know, I thought it was owned by Essex, another lesson. And, it was not necessary for his dogs to be on a leach, and if I wanted to let mine run loose he did not care. I believe that there is a leach law in Essex Junction, in any event, if not on a leach, at least under control. These dogs were neither. I want to continue to enjoy the park, and now that I know this is managed by volunteers, please let me know where I can send my contribution to help support this beautiful recreational area. I would appreciate it though, if the gentleman who owns the dogs, keep them on a leach, as I do mine. Pat Allard.
