This rescue goes above and beyond for dogs who otherwise would not be given a second chance.
The director of this rescue is completely transparent on all of the special needs that each individual dog has, and keeps the community informed on social media as well.
In rescue, not all dogs have a “success story”, there are always some who break your heart, no matter how hard you try for them.
I know personally, that this rescue will NOT adopt any dogs out without age appropriate vaccinations. All dogs that come into this rescue do so with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian and then are brought to the rescue’s local veterinarian shortly after arriving.

Because of this rescue, I have a wonderful, paralyzed Border Collie with the absolute best quality of life. When he was sent to PIR from a rescue down south, he had horrid wounds from being neglected by his previous “owners”. Most would consider those images very graphic. However, today, you would never know he had such injuries due to the care that this rescue has provided him.

I endorse this rescue with every ounce of my being.. and the 1 star rating clearly has no familiarity with this rescue at all or is just a spam bot.

Terrible! Disturbing photos of rescue dogs that have died within 3 weeks of arriving at this rescue. The lady charges $350 to adopt and doesn't even give puppies their first set of vaccines! Will Never Ever adopt from them again.. all about money Not the animals.
