The team consists of industry leaders and experts in the field and are the voice for the most vulnerable felines. They continue to invest in ethical research, medical assistance for unique cases, and provide cutting edge care for the cases many others would not take on.

Hello Friends, my story goes back a few years and continues to this very day. I have been out of work since July 2017, needed Surgery which finally happened in May 2019. In that time span I lost 3 cats in a six month period. Without work, emergencies are impossible for me on my small Social Security Income, and needless to say I blame myself for their loss. So when I noticed a lump, a month or so ago on my Big Andy's cheek (white & tan cat) I was beside myself. I searched the internet for help and organized a GoFundMe Campaign for his surgery. The good Lord sent me some wonderful people including the Foundation for Care of Indigent Animals (FICA) of Spring Valley, CA. The surgery went well and Andy is now on his way to a full recovery. HOPEFULLY, this very morning another beloved cat of mine Suzy (tabby) passed away in my arms. She had been struggling with Asthma. Suzy and Andy where friends from the very beginning when I rescued her from the street. I hope this does not sadden him too much so that he may continue to heal properly. I've been a donor for several years. I'm very happy with them and their devotion to help those who are without.

The purpose of the message is to address a sexual harassment issue concerning the Midcity Nazarene in San Diego California. A married member of one of the congregations asked me to be his sexual partner. After saying no a few times, he still persisted with his request and almost acted as if he was in denial with my answer. After the Incident, I felt uneasy to even be alone with him. A short while after I called to have a meeting with one of the Pastors. I told him what happened and he told me not to say anything for it will cause problems. After some time thinking about it, I was not satisfied the way he handled it. I later sent an email to a female pastor addressing that I felt it was not properly taken care of. She told me that however it was handled was the best way and for me to drop the situation. After the incident, I was constantly ridiculed and belittled by that one member who asked me to become intimately involved with him. After other incidents where that same member botched communication between myself and my own pastor, I felt it was not my home anymore and proceeded to go to another church where I felt safe and supported. After a recent attempt to communication witch whom I thought were friends at the church, the same female pastor responded on their behalf saying, "I speaking on behalf of everyone and we cannot help you." After addressing the issue of harassment to the female pastor and insisting on TALKING to her face to face and to my old congregation as to why I no longer attended, the female pastor even admitted that the same "issues" are not there anymore, threatened me with, "Please be careful. If necessary, I will take this matter before the MC Board with a recommendation to pursue an official restraining order." The District Superintendent of the Nazarene feels that my devotion to the Mid-city church up until the incident does not bare any weight. &ldquo;you are no longer a member....therefore the case is closed" I have compromised my living situations to travel to that very church so that I could spend time with my friends who have graciously welcomed me into their congregation. A restraining order is not only unfair but ridiculous to even suggest. I'll let you decide what you feel should be addressed in this petition. If you feel it was unjust and want to see a change, or if you want to voice that a restraining order is not necessary, please keep this letter going as I will keep in the pursuit to women's equal rights in the Nazarene Church.
