The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) is a truly remarkable organization dedicated to the preservation and protection of one of the world's most iconic and misunderstood animals: the wolf. WCC participates in recovery programs for the Mexican gray wolf and the red wolf, two of the rarest mammals in North America. Both species at one time were completely extinct in the wild.<br>Nestled in the heart of nature, the WCC combines education, conservation, and a deep appreciation for the role wolves play in maintaining ecological balance. The passionate staff and volunteers who share a wealth of knowledge about wolves, their biology, and their critical role in the ecosystem. The educational programs are outstanding, engaging both children and adults with fascinating facts, and a deep dive into the history and future of wolves in North America. You can sleep with the wolves, attend classes and camp either virtually or in person. Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast or simply curious about these magnificent creatures, the WCC provides a space where you can learn about the complexities of wolf conservation in an interactive and meaningful way. On social media, WCC does a great job of letting us observe wolves so we can witness their behaviors—whether howling, playing, or simply resting. It's remarkable. I have fallen in love with their wolves. Each one is unique and important. My favorite is Trumpet.

I have personally worked with Gear Up on projects from sorting fire gear, to responding with a team from around North and South America to the earthquake in Ecuador (April 2016). We gave aid and donations to the victims and the agencies responding. These are amazing people and an amazing organization. I would trust them with not only my money but life!
