I grew up with my own horse, Sonny. There is no greater love for a girl than a horse! As an adult I no longer own a horse, but keep that love in my heart- when asked to support Happy Endings in fundraising, it’s always a yes! C.C. and crew run a tight ship, it’s my pleasure to support them

Lil Orphan Hammies is the main charity I support. This is because all of the money donated goes to caring for abused and abandoned potbellied pigs. Over the last three decades, Susan Parkinson has tirelessly cared for hundreds of potbellies, and helped place many more in loving homes. Lil Orphan Hammies has made and continues to make a difference in alleviating the suffering of these intelligent animals.

As a first responder psychologist <br> specializing in trauma, I cannot emphasize enough how the programs at Join Up International work to help responders heal. I have the honor of being on the board of this wonderful organization and would invite you to support the program and help the helpers. The work done on the ranch saves marriages- jobs- and lives. We are able to provide this to our men and women holding the line at NO cost to them or their families . Join me in supporting our most precious resource- good people. They need our support!

The Wildling Museum is the museum we visit the most. We live in Long Beach, and it is almost a three-hour drive, but the museum's focus on the intersection of art and nature resonates with us. We have attended events sponsored outing put on by the museum and have never been disappointed. The staff and volunteers are very knowledgeable and helpful.

The Katherine Estes Rogers Foundation was established in memory of Katherine Estes Rogers by her loving husband, M. Hugh Rogers, shortly following Katherine's death from cancer in March 1997. The Foundation was established for general charitable purposes, with a primary focus on research for pain relief by cancer victims. No officer or director receives compensation for services, nor are officers and directors eligible for grants. All such donations will fund grants to major research organizations and smaller organizations meeting the needs of cancer victims.<br><br>Katherine was born February 2,1917 in Joplin, Missouri. Hers was a prominent family in that state, due to the size and popularity of a newspaper, The Joplin Globe, established in the mid-1800s by her grandfather. The family owned and operated the newspaper continuously until its sale to Dow Jones in 1996.<br><br>Katherine moved with her family to California at the age of six. She was married to and divorced Vollers Wood, and was married to and survived Norman G. Lacy, before marrying Rogersin 1966. In addition to her husband, she was survived by a son, Robert A. Lacy, and a daughter, Katherine W. Gauld.<br><br>Katherine was a warm, loving person, respected and loved by all who knew her. This memorial serves to keep her for many years in the hearts and minds of those whose lives she touched. Katherine and Hugh were old and dear friends of F. Bentley Mooney Jr., the president of the Foundation.
