Edit: these people met my challenge and changed. This is not an ability I see often. Good on them for being willing to learn.
Old review: These people are more concerned about their dogs going to homes with a fence than homes where they are safe. I live on five acres of land, and the nearest road to my house is not a through road. It gets, on average, one car every two hours. My dogs are far safer than animals that live in crowded suburbs with dozens of cars zipping by every hour, only protected by four feet of wood and metal. My miniature poodle jumped over bigger fences for fun. But because I don't have a fence, my house isn't considered safe. I'm not alone in my assessments. Most of my neighbors also have dogs, and none of us have fences suitable for keeping dogs in.
Every other dog rescue I've ever worked with had fences as a preference and not a requirement. I've been able to adopt and safely care for five dogs that all lived into their teens without a fence, and my current five-month-old has never once run off nor ever been in danger of being hit by a car simply because I trained her to recognize her territory.
I challenge these people to do better. Leave your urban city and come up here to my village. See that there are other ways of life that a dog can safely lead.
Pinky Paws ResQ is unmatchable. Their devotion, compassion, and love of any animal in need is their life.
They put fur babies needs above all else and work together as an amazing team for the well being of any and all fur babies or even feathered babies.
I know first hand that when they learned of a downed hawk in a field, they went out in the middle of the night, regardless of work the next day or lack of sleep, to do all they could to help this hawk in need.
This is only one example of the countless times they have gone out to care for and help a helpless animal.
It is so easy to see and feel the love and compassion they have for all fur babies and the passion they have for Pinky Paws ResQ

Krystle and her husband Allen are amazing. Although they have a dog rescue, they love all animals and will do whatever it takes to help an animal in need.
When I needed help saving my cat and several others, My brother and I contacted numerous rescues and shelters but none would help. There were endless referrals and we had just about given up hope until Krystle came into our lives. Krystle and Allen didn't hesitate to help; They were the only ones willing to help.
It didn't matter what it took or what obstacles they had to overcome. All they cared about was saving these fur babies, and they like angels heaven sent.
When seeing Krystle and Allen with the fur babies they have rescued, you not only see the love they have for animals, but you can also feel it.
No one has quite understood me and my love for animals, and they have taught me that I'm not alone in my love and compassion for animals.
Krystle and Allen mostly run their rescue themselves with what little help and donations they receive. Although Krystle works a full time job, they put the needs of their rescue above all.
If there is an animal in need of help, they will not rest until they have done all they can do.
Adopted my dog from them back in 2009. He was the best ever, they had rescued him and his siblings and their mom from an abandoned home. They take care and rescue so many animals and are always willing to help out the community. Everyone in that rescue truly has a passion for what they do.
Pinky paws is the guardian angle to so many animals that was been abandoned by their owners. Krystle gives hope where their is none. Thanks to her living heart I have had the pleasure of fostering such loving babies. I even have adopted my greatest love. Thank you Krystle for finding me my Zsa zsa. She is my
I have worked with and helped this rescue for several years now. Like all rescues, they are caring and try their best to do what they can, with the funds they have . But what makes them a step above in my mind, is they always seem to go that extra mile for lost pets. They have even gone way out of their area, miles away to rescue or assist with a rescue. I can now call them close friends, so I have insight on what they go through that nobody else knows. Even when funds are low, with their drive, compassion and big hearts, they find a way. Some of the finest, fun and loving people that I have the privilege to call my friends. May Pink Paws ResQ be around for as long as they can. I have even adopted a fur baby from them. God bless them!

Pinky Paws ResQ is one of the best animal rescues I've ever had the privilege to work with. Her and her husband work tirelessly keeping their jobs and working into the late hours of the night. Their volunteers are great ! Her dogs and cats are always loved and cared for, but like all rescues, there are always financial needs. Please help.
Three pieces of my heart, Ally, Cookies and Creme Brulee were rescued from miserable situations byPinky Paws Search and ResQ. I adopted my three and have been blessed daily by them.
My three are a small example of the hundreds and hundreds of animals that have been rescued by Pinky Paws and been given a new life. Pinky Paws is an awesome organization that makes our communities better and stronger. I hope to be involved with for the rest of my life.
This nonprofit is incredible. I rescued my Toby from krystle. She goes above and beyond for all animals and people. She displays true love and compassion in this field. If only we could have 100's of Pinky Paws, what a world it would be

I Adopted my Toby from Pinky Paws. The amount of love and selflessness she has for animals is admirable. She lives her life for the animals, works non stop and never asks for anything for herself. She will go to the end of the earth, even if it's just to help one dog, obviously she has helped many more. This rescue deserves the world, the dogs deserve it. ❤ if only we could clone her and put a Pinky in every town. Love you guys
I posted on social network that I needed help to get my dog Bootsie surgery for a tumor that was causing her pain and was unable to walk. There as a comment from Krystal owner of Pinky Paws ResQ asking me to call her ASAP. After sending her pictures and talking on the phone she told me she would call me back. Much to my surprise she did call me back and said is 11am tomorrow ok for you to take Bootsie to the vet in Kingsberg!!! No problem at all I as so excited ! Then she told me that she would be having her surgery after Dr Lane examined her, I asked her how would it be paid for??? This wonderful woman told me she would help me raise donations and if we didn't get enough she would pay out of her own pocket.. I WAS IN TEARS! I think I must of asked her 3-4 times if she really was willing to pay for a complete strangers dog to have surgery..each time she reassured me YES SHE WOULD! It was not even 24 hours from the time I posted I needed help that Bootsie was having the surgery.
There are no words that can express my gradtitude for Krystal & Allen Woodard and Pinky Paws ResQ!!!!! I will never be able to Thank you all for saving my dogs life...You are all Blessed with the way you are when it comes to animals. There were a few moments when I was a little nervous but not only did you reassure me everything was going to be fine but your repore with my Bootsie was like no other. If you need help with your animal or any animal these are the people to call. They are quick and know justw hat needs to be done or the steps needed to help you and your fur baby. If it wasnt for my Beautiful wife Krystle and her devotion to saving all these little and big lives I would have never met my most best little buddy Piglet! Krystle has opened my eyes even more to all of the sad things that a lot of these poor animals go through. She will fight till the end for these doggies! And me and piglet will be right along side her!

I got my most best little buddy from the amazing pinky paws! I wouldn't know what I would do without him, and can't begging to imagine what my life would be like without him. I am a dedicated follower and supporter of pinky paws ResQ! She works so incredibly hard for all of these poor homeless and abandoned doggies, if anyone deserves recognition for their hard work, it's Krystle of Pinky Paws ResQ!
Krystle Woodward and her husband Allen run their shelter Pinky Paws ResQ with little to no help. She has a handyman and maybe 1-2 volunteers who help her out. She works full time and uses half of her salary to support her shelter.
She has been so awesome working to rescue Betty Boop a pregnant Momma dog who had been wandering back and forth for miles searching for food to bring back to her babies. Krystle made multiple attempts to capture/trap her and she kept escaping. She finally began to trust Krystle enough that she eventually led her to an abandoned building where she had all her babies hidden. They were all taken back to the shelter and the pups were all adopted out. Betty Boop lives with Krystle who would like to get some training for her to make her into a therapy dog.
The Woodwards worked especially hard during July 4th when they went out and rescued and secured many loose dogs that were frightened by the fireworks etc.
She has diligently networked many of the dogs in her care to out of state rescues who have successfully gotten them forever homes.
I met Krystle over a year ago when I brought her several jugs of bleach that she had requested and some puppy pads. I always am on the lookout for good deals on items that she requests to help keep the dogs that she rescued comfortable.
She and her husband are loving and caring people who have devoted their entire lives to rescue. I wish that Krystle could get some financial help so she could work on improvements to her shelter and allow the dogs to lead a more comfortable life while looking and waiting for their forever homes.
This rescue keeps fighting as the Underdogs. While other big rescues get all the donations and help they still don't stop. Deny after deny for grants makes it hard. After constant struggle the focus is always on the animals. Hoping they get their big break to save more animals.
I have personally witnessed, worked with and donated to this rescue. The passion and commitment they have demonstrated in saving the lives of lost, abandoned and injured animals is amazing. They have rescued, fed and provided medical care for animals that most certainly would have died. They find new, safe homes and work tirelessly taking every opportunity to save just one more, never turning their back on animals in need.
I watched Pinky Paws go through the rescue process of a momma and her 10 pups. The determination they showed to capture the homeless roaming mother and subsequently locate her 10 pups was amazing! I have been following their rescues since then and watched as they give so much time, energy and love to helping these helpless animals. They take horrible circumstances and perform extraordinary measures to bring life back to animals that have been neglected. It restores my faith in human kindness watching what they do.
Pinky Paws Resq has been helping save animals for almost 12 years now. She has helped me several times with dumped puppies, injured pit bulls and stray dogs. She works tirelessly to make a better life for homeless animals, mostly at her own expense. She is a true Saint of Animals.
PINKY PAWS IS A NO KILL SHELTER. KRYSTAL WOODWARD IS A DOG WHISPERER. SHE CAN GET DOGS TO COME TO HER WHEN NO ONE ELSE CAN. THERE WAS A MOTHER PITT BULL THAT WAS LOOKING FOR FOOD AND WOULD GO TO NO ONE. KRYSTAL GOT HER TO COME TO HER. SHE NAMED THIS DOG BETTY BOOP. KRYSTAL PUT BETTY ON A LEASH AND WALKED HER IN THE AREA SHE WAS FOUND IN. SHE WALKED BETTY BOOP WITH PUPPY SOUNDS ON HER CELL PHONE. BETTY FINALLY TOOK KRYSTAL TO AN ABANDONED HOUSE. INSIDE WERE 10 PUPPIES! KRYSTAL TOOK THE PUPPIES HOME. THEY ALL WENT TO THE VETS TO GET CHECKED OUT AND GOT THEIR SHOTS. ALL WERE ADOPTED. KRYSTAL KEPT BETTY BOOP!! KRYSTAL IS A WONDERFUL PERSON. ALL OF THE ANIMALS LOVE HER. KRYSTAL DESERVES ANY AND ALL HELP SHE CAN RECEIVE. I CANNOT THINK OF ANY SHELTER THAT DESERVES MORE HELP THAN PINKY PAWS!!!
Krystle and her husband are amazing people who go above and beyond in their quest for rescuing animals. They put their own needs aside to assist animals in need! We rescued a wonderful dog from them and could not be happier! Krystle is a knowledgeable rescuer who works day and night to tend to animals in unfortunate circumstances . She deserves recognition for all she has done!! ❤️
I started Volunteering and Supporting Pinky Paws in 2016. My Grand Dog Toby came from Pinky Paws Rescue. Krystle has done over Thousands of Rescue's she is No Kill and saves Fur babies no matter what the medical need . Her Rescue 's receive good Home's. Krystle Pinky Paws is the best for rescue
Pinky Paws Resq has saved so many fur lives. I was so blessed to have rescued my fur baby because of their loving efforts. She is so helpful, honest, caring and always puts the fur babies first.
I took in a very sick foster from this rescue that has done amazingly well. Vets gave up on this girl - but not Pinky Paws Rescue. She never gave up. She has a huge heart for all dogs and refuses to give up on them. She puts her own needs second - always takes care of the dogs first!
Pinky Paws ResQ is one of the most dedicated rescues in the valley! It is run by a husband and wife team and they do anything and everything they can for the stray and less fortunate pups around town. They have very few volunteers but the few available are just as passionate about the well being of the pups and the drive to improve rescue in our communities. I've been lucky enough to volunteer for adoptions with Pinky and have seen some of the most happy matches with the pups and adopters, and seen first hand the love and passion for rescue that Pinky and her husband have.Pinky Paws ResQ does so,so much they are truly a blessing for our rescue pups and community!
Pinky Paws and their volunteers are passionate about dog rescue and finding suitable, loving homes for their dogs (and cats). The animals are ALWAYS put first. Krystle and Allan are tenacious and NEVER GIVE UP when it comes to catching homeless and abandoned dogs on the streets. We adopted a cat from PP and LOVE her. She is such a gentle spirit and so sweet. Even though cats are not PP primary focus, she has a couple dear cats looking for homes. I cannot recommend them enough if you're looking to volunteer, donate or want to adopt a dog from Pinky Paws.
Pinky Paws ResQ passionately cares about the life, health, happiness and well-being of every animal rescued, and would rescue every animal if they could! They go above and beyond, and even take risks, to rescue lost, stray and injured animals, and are truly dedicated to their purpose and mission. Their achievements are heartfelt, especially the recovery of this little guy lost and found hiding in a warehouse for days.
We have 2 dogs that we adopted into our home from pinky paws. 1 large breed that we had adopted first about 7 years ago . Just about 3 years ago we decided to adopt a small breed . There was no doubt who we were going to adopt from. Pinky Paws rescue and their mission on saving dogs is by far the best. Everyone on staff are so loving and caring to their animals. Let alone they are all so personal and friendly. There is never any pressure to adopt. Our family is so grateful and blessed to have pinky paws rescue as part of our family through our dogs.
Pinky Paws is a great rescue and shows so much love and passion for what they do. They deserve so much more help than what they get. Being a smaller scale rescue they don't always get all the recognition they deserve. They definitely deserve this and more.
Pinky Paws ResQ is a non profit no kill shelter that is run on donations and volunteers and when money is short it comes right out of the founder of Pinky Paws ResQ Krystle Woodward's own pocket
The dogs come first before her own needs.
In addition to working a full time job Pinky & her husband Allen Woodward go to vet appointments,do adoptions, fundraisers,
give baths, treatments, feeding, cleaning kennels, exercising and lots & lots of love!
Even though they are short on funding & volunteers, It does not stop them.
Recently one of the dogs that was adopted from Pinky Paws ResQ got lost and Pinky & Allen along with many volunteers spent days looking for this angel, Pinky made flyers & offered a $400.00 reward out of her own pocket. Thankfully the dog (Geoffrey) was found safe.
Pinky Paws ResQ is such a wonderful place,
They do so many great things for the doggies!
Pinky Paws is a wonderful organization for rescuing dogs. The love that the founders have for the animals is over the top! The animals are well cared for and love unconditionally. Pinky Paws have volunteers who help with the feeding and upkeep of the facility. The Love you feel when you enter this facility between the dogs and Krystal Woodward is so heart warming. All the of animals love her and her volunteers. Pinky Paws has devoted the past 10 year to rescuing dogs and giving them shelter and love that all animals should receive! Thank you Pinky Paws for all
Of your work, dedication and love
You give the your rescues.
I've followed Pinky Paws ResQ for some time and try to support by donating when possible, fostering and transporting when I can. The organization is run by Pinky (Krystal) and her husband, Allen. I have never met two people more committed to animals and their welfare than them. These two do not get the volunteers they need, they do not get the financial backing they need, they do not get the exposure they need, yet they continue to rescue and save lives every day. They give so much of themselves.
Recently, Pinky Paws ResQ took in a stray german shepard that was found behind their property. In order to save this beautiful girl, they posted their need for a foster. They quarantined her while looking for her owner and when her necessary quarantine was done, my family took her in as a foster. Allen brought her to us, and Krystal checked in regularly to be sure all was going well. They began getting the word out about "Poppy" to find the perfect home for her and after a couple of months, Krystal contacted me to let me know that a perfect home had been found. While we were sad to see this gorgeous girl go, we were thrilled to be part of her story and part of the team that found her a perfect FOREVER home.
I will continue to help in any way I can to promote Pinky Paws ResQ, mostly for the lives that are saved by this wonderful couple but also because they give so much of themselves, they deserve to have some support for their efforts!
