I volunteer with some of your adults with different disabilities at CDI/ELC and wanted to share my thoughts about your organization. The best part of being here with them is the enthusiasm they exude to the kids and families we cater to here. They are not shy to approach and interact with them. We do a story time daily with the kids and families and have gotten them involved in reading a story. The confidence they have in themselves is heartwarming. When we thank them for participating they smile from ear to ear.
Confidence building is the key. Thanks for sharing them with us and the staff members who mentor them.
I love this program because it gives us the chance to be out in the community and doing something, instead of just sitting in a building. I like the fact that I get live in an apartment for 4-5 years. I have my freedom, and still get to visit my family. I also like that you learn life skills and learn how to make your own doctors appointments and I like how the building is within walk distance of stores. I like my ILS worker Maricela, she is very kind and helps me achieve my goals.
I recently started this program in the middle of the year and I am so happy I joined! I love being a part of the ACCESS program. I'm learning so much both in person and on TEAMS. I want to thank Jackie for introducing me to the staff at the program and the clients there.
Kindred Spirits Care Farm has been partnering with Pathpoint for about 2 years to help give some of their participants a place to practice work skills. I have worked with other organizations that say they do similar work to Pathpoint, but none of them has been as consistent, reliable or in touch with their participants as Pathpoint. I work with several of Pathpoint's coaches, and all of them are kind, gentle and respectful with the clients in their care. Destiney is an incredibly hard worker and works right along with the men in her group. Gus is always good for a laugh and to bring humor to the group. It is just a joy to work with them.
PathPoint is a great place to be in. It has been a great experience, and I have made really good friends. The staff are great and very respectful. I really enjoy going out in the community and PathPoint is always looking for ways to help me find a job. I like all the activities we do and PathPoint is always helping me improve and become better. Thank you PathPoint.
PathPoint was the very first program that I tried and it has been such a good match. I joined the ACCESS program in 2015 and have really enjoyed volunteering, learning job skills, and connecting with my peers and staff. I’ve made many friends through the program and am currently engaging in an internship. I really love how the program allows me to go out into the community and volunteer with so many different organizations and try something different every day. I love PathPoint!
I am compelled to donate to PathPoint every month because of the amazing work they do for many individuals. PathPoint continues to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. With the right support, these individuals are able to reach a level of independence and self-sufficiency that helps them thrive within their community. Keep up the amazing work PathPoint!!!

I like PathPoint because it allows me to volunteer at multiple places so that I can develop work skills. It also gives me the opportunity to get out of the house and make friends. The staff are always willing to help me with any projects that I need. They have been helping me to study the driver's handbook so that I can work in getting my drivers license.
I really enjoy my day program at pathpoint because I get to learn different things out in the community and volunteer at job sites with different people
I had an internship at Kaiser Project Search site prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic closure. Working there went well, I got to work in 3 different departments. I got to work with so many mentors and was able to participate in all rotations for an entire year. I now volunteer at VA hospital, where I support veterans and VA staff. It is going well, and my performance continues to go well. I am always learning
So proud to be part of this outstanding organization!

My daughter attends Pathpoint CAP program in Santa Barbara and I am very pleased with the program. The facility is clean, bright and lovely, and the attendees are well cared for and happy. The heart and soul of CAP, though, is the exceptional and caring staff! They are interested in each individual and figuring out how best to help each person meet his/her potential. All of this is run under the capable and supportive leadership of Carla.
I absolutely love supporting PathPoint! They are a great organization that succeeds in their mission to provide life-changing support for individuals with developmental disabilities. They help families and provide invaluable tangible services to their loved ones by offering affordable stable housing, mental health counseling, day service programs, teaching independent living skills and helping their participants in finding and maintaining employment. The staff is warm, caring, respectful and knowledgeable and you can see it in the daily smiles and engagement of their clients. I wish I had known about this organization earlier for our own family member and am so proud to donate to a program that makes such a positive impact!
PathPoint is such a fun program. I have made so many friends. They have helped me with my social skills. Joy is a great program coordinator. She makes sure to support me in ways that allows me to reach my goals. I look forward to continuing to attend PathPoint. One of my goals for the future is joining the Project SEARCH program so that it can help me develop work skills. Thank you PathPoint for everything you have done for me.
PathPoint is a fantastic organization that provides life-changing support for people with developmental disabilities. The one-to-one and group care they provide is impactful and so appreciated by families throughout Southern California. As a donor, I am proud to support an organization that truly helps the disability community. Thank you PathPoint for all you do!
I've been in the Special Needs field as a teacher in Special Education for over 5 years. I've had the opportunity to learn about PathPoint and the services they offer through the families I support. PathPoint is a true reflection of integrating our young adults with specific needs into our community. I applaud their success and hope they continue to provide the great support to our young adults.
I recently graduated from PathPoint's Project SEARCH. The experience provided by Project SEARCH taught me many new skills including how to clock in and out. It also taught me time management skills and the importance of arriving to work on time. And it helped me with social skills and how to interact better with my peers. The organizational skills also helped me when planning my work duties. I am grateful to PathPoint for the opportunity.
My daughter has been attending Pathpoint for close to ten years and it’s amazing. The staff is caring, talented and friendly. The facility is bright, clean and welcoming. I am grateful each and every day that she has such a warm and supportive place to be. Her smiles tell the story of how much she enjoys everyone there.
The PathPoint organization is probably the best organization serving the Special Needs population in our area! As a parent of an adult who attends the program on the Central Coast we are extremely happy with what they provide for their clients.
Also, the way they adapted when Covid hit was extremely successful. My daughter looked forward to many of the zoom classes they offered, and continue to offer today.
I have recommended PathPoint to others who are looking for a program for their adult children with Special Needs.
Individuals supported by PathPoint are the North Star for everything they do! They are truly person-centered in creating services and supports that meet individual needs. PathPoint is also an innovator in new services such as assistive technology. As a donor, I know my gift will be spent effectively helping people with disabilities.
Path Point Project Search has been the best thing for my son! We didn't know what to do or where to go in his life and then this opportunity came along! Just the social interactions alone were priceless! Add in job skills, and all that goes along with being in a work enviroment, and it was incredible! He changed so much for the better, more confidence, accountability, feels better around others. We feel extremely blessed that he was able to do this program, and just graduated! If you have this opportunity, I highly recommend doing it! Wonderful people all around and a safe work enviroment for the young adults!
I am so happy I joined this organization! Harry is wonderful and a great leader. I am learning so much from the staff and other board members. Thank you all! I appreciate you and your support of the LGBTQ+ community, family, and allies!

PathPoint has worked with my two adult sons with developmental disabilities in a variety of ways. From day programs, job coaching and internships, PathPoint has helped them become integral parts of our community with employment. The guys are very proud of themselves and I am too! Thank you PathPoint!
I was so excited to get involved with Pathpoint after seeing how client centered their services are and how much everyone in the organization truly wants to support the thriving and development of each client. I've worked with neurodiverse and diversely able youth programs throughout my career and it makes me so happy to see that as they become adults, my clients could continue to find meaningful community involvement through an organization like Pathpoint.
I love PathPoint. I feel so grateful for this opportunity and very nice people. Now, I’m less fearful in the real world.

I joined the Pathpoint Board about two years ago and have been so impressed with the organization. Pathpoint has incredible staff and leaders and are deeply dedicated to helping people with disabilities and disadvantages. This is probably one of the best run non-profits I have worked with. Those who choose to donate and/or assist Pathpoint can rest assured that their time and money is well spent.
PathPoint is a mission-driven nonprofit with great management. I've been extremely impressed by its commitment to excellent service to its clients, which it is constantly striving to improve.
My name is Tina Castro and I am a working professional in the field. PathPoint is an amazing organization that supports individuals to be able to live independently. I've worked directly with Ashley DeLaO for the past 3+ years and have nothing but positive experiences. Since our agency does not provide ILS or SLS support services in North Los Angeles region, I always recommend our program participants who are looking to live independently to check out Pathpoint. Many of our current program participants are part of CILP or reside on CSUN campus in the dorms and receive individualized support. We are thankful to have an organization like Pathpoint to refer our participants to.
My son with severe autism adore this program , he daily feels included , accepted , encouraged , supported , respected always with care and attention to his needs . Since he joined the program we have seen with him tremendous progress in communication skills and increased awareness and desire to partecipate . All people in the staff at this time are great , very supportive . The new program coordinator Erin is always available , always making herself present for any questions , clarifications and notifications. She is amazing and very supportive . My husband and I are very grateful for this program .
I have been in this program since I was in my 30's. This program taught me so many things, I always advocate for myself and pathpoint. I am now able to live independently with help of ILS.
This place is great. It’s an amazing program for my child, who’s turning into a young man. I see the progress he is making, developing these skills (such as laundry, chores, groceries, etc) to live on his own.
I would recommend PathPoints to any parent who is looking to have their child’s skills assisted in order to strengthen their own independence.
I have been with Path Point for 2 years. This have been the best programming I been in. Shayna has help me with job development and a host of job coaches help me remain focus, where I have worked the same job for a year and 8 months. Thanks Path Point!
Path Point I just love it, love it! The job coaches and I make the perfect team. They are very helpful and understand I'm happy with this company.
Since a friend referred me to Path Point two years ago I have been satisfied with the support I received from Job coaches. The only thing that's missing from this program is a day program in the Long beach area. I would like to meet newer people.
I have found that PathPoint is dedicated to supporting people with disabilities. PathPoint has supported my friend with getting a job. We are pleased with his progress and the caring job coaches and job developers. I recommend PathPoint's services to anyone with disabilities.
I was privileged to be the Payroll Manager for 16 years and grateful and honored to work for a company that chose to do the right thing with compassion and kindness. Know your donations are used wisely!
Thank you Pathpoint for the services you have provided to so many individuals here in the county. Happy to work together to improve services for all individuals with disabilities in our county. Thank you!
My association with PathPoint has been a rewarding experience on every level.
Innovation and the willingness to think and work outside of the box, coupled with kindness and compassion is a win-win at every agency throughout the five counties where they serve.

My son, Henry benefitted greatly from participating in PathPoint's Project SEARCH internship program. Not only did he learn marketable, real world job skills in his three rotations in the year-long internship at St. John's hospital, doing so also boosted his self-confidence. I'm not aware of any other training programs such as this where developmentally disabled young adults are fully immersed in a business setting and are taught real-world job skills. A few months after graduating, he landed a job at St. John's Pleasant Valley hospital in Camarillo, as an on-call tech in the Central Supply Dept., and he couldn't be happier!
I have been a Director on PathPoint's board for many years. I have seen the great work they have done for our clients and their families, from the inside. The degree of caring, the focus on the detail as to what it takes to make a program successful, has been impressive.
PathPoint's program leadership team along with their caring staff provide for the best possible development experience possible.
I've been proud to be part of the PathPoint organization. Jeff Dodds
I work with many non-profits in the community and currently serve on the Business Advisory Committee for Project SEARCH/PathPoint Ventura County. I have gotten to see first hand how incredible this organization is by the testimonials given by the students/clients and their parents. The recipients of PathPoint's services seem happier and their lives have genuinely been changed by the service they are being provided. Independence is a big deal and the ultimate goal for adults with disabilities and PathPoint is helping more people achieve this goal.
