I have been going to the RRUFF Dog Park in Rocklin since 2011...My pups love it there. They have made so many new friends; and so have I. We also are so proud of this nonprofit as they have expanded their mission to fund the cost of service dog training for veterans and first responders. Keep up the good work, RRUFF!

There's not one ministry that has had a bigger, more inspirational impact on my life than Amazing Facts International. Whether it's through the countless videos, the wonderful radio programs, the Bible School, or the priceless reading materials, all of them have been so very helpful to me. Most worthy of my donations and support. I know that my money is directly going to help spread God's message around the world and even in my neighborhood. Praise God for Amazing Facts!

Connected Horse is an amazing organization providing a unique equine-based program for those individuals with cognitive impairment/dementia and their caregivers. This is a unique evidence based program developed by two amazing and dedicated women, Nancy Schier Anzelmo and Paula Hertel, who are experts in aging and elder care, as well as expert equestrians and who have a passion for the work they do. Their research at Stanford University and University of California Davis sets a solid foundation for this evidenced based program, which is offered at no cost to its participants. <br>I recently experienced the program first-hand with my husband who has been diagnosed with Age-Related Mild Cognitive Impairment and can truly say this program is remarkable! The outcomes of connection with the power and gentleness of the horse assist in making an improved and/or a deeper connection with the individual and his/her caregiver. This results in less stress, less anxiety, increased socialization, and I believe ultimately less depression and loneliness for both the individual and the caregiver, hence a better quality of life. <br>As a retired health professional, former equestrian and now a care-giver, I carefully choose where I spend my volunteer hours and Connected Horse is the organization that makes my heart sing. CH works to provide hope and healing to those facing the challenges of cognitive impairment and dementia as they age. The program is offered at no cost to participants because of fundraising efforts and grants. I encourage you to support this valuable and growing program.

I volunteered at Ghosts of Placer County premiere in 2022 and saw this amazing show that made me think, "I want to work with these people." I'm in college now and minoring in Theatre and hope that if I come back home after college, I might get to join Placer Rep - on or off-stage - I don't even care. I just want to be inspired and their quality and enthusiasm and how rich their works are inspires me.

I have been volunteering with Courage Worldwide in Tanzania since 2016. The programs they have created and the lives they have transformed as a result of these programs are nothing short of remarkable. Each year, I see immense growth. I see girls transformed, educated, and sealed with the knowledge that they are deeply loved by people and by God - that what happened in their past doesn’t define who they are. The staff are incredible and sacrifice everything to love and support these girls. And now, there is even a cafe and coffee shop where their girls can learn real-life skills to propel them into the working world. I cannot say enough good about what this organization does!

The Markie Foundation and the Wonderful people behind their mission are truly a blessing to the children and families in need within our communities. They have created a powerful movement in honor of their beloved son. An inspiration to all who have been touched by their passion and devotion to others in need.

This is a good charity they answered all my questions correctly did the guy I talked to was super nice and honest don't believe everyone on here my experience was awesome and I will continue to donate to them

STAR Eco Station in Rocklin is AH-MAZING! The exotic animals they rescue are so cool and get great care and attention. As a volunteer I love helping because when guests come in they are so blown away at what a wonderful place it is. Kids and families get to get up close to over 100 exotic animals from all around the world, learn about environmental sciences and what they can do to help save and protect our planet. Their events are also really fun and my son's birthday party was out of this world fun. Thank you Eco Station. You've made a wonderful difference in our lives.

CARTE's STARR Program is an accelerated experiential self-esteem program for at-risk abused teen girls and women who are victims of domestic abuse. As I watch and listen to the girls from the first day to the third day, I hear them saying things like "Before STARR I didn't have any self-respect or self-worth. I let people walk all over me, now I really like the woman I have become". It amkes my heart sing, and I know that all the work that goes into producing this course is totally worth it.
