Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Family Services, Food, Food Banks & Pantries, Human Services, Religion, Religion-Related
Mission: At ERCO, we accept donations of new or gently-used baby items, clothes, household items, furniture and appliances. When an individual or family is in need, those items are given freely to them. We serve as a MS Food Network food pantry providing monthly food assistance to people in multiple counties. In addition, we partner with other area ministries and organizations and work collaboratively together to meet as many needs as possible. As Christians, we are called to be the hands & feet of Jesus Christ. We at ERCO will be ever reaching, ever seeking opportunities to show Christ's love by serving others and providing them a message of hope and faith in Jesus Christ. Results: In 2023, we served over 11,100 individuals.
Target demographics: Individuals and families in need, including widows, elderly and veterans
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 11,100 people in Mississippi
Geographic areas served: Mississippi, but assist in other states in disaster crises
Programs: Clothes, food, housewares, furniture and appliances, and at times we help with home repairs. We have two locations and serve as a food pantry as well.
