My wife was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease 2 years ago, when she was 62. She had a stooped posture and tremors; her right arm did not move and also a pulsating feeling in her body. She was placed on Sinemet for 6 months, and then Siferol was introduced and replaced the Sinemet. Neither standard treatment like B1 and high dose B12. I have been working with the young mothers at Mama's House for the past 6 years and found it to be a wonderful and safe refuge for young mothers. Over the years I have seen dramatic changes for the better in so many of these women. In addition, these mothers learn positive mothering skills that help them build a healthy relationship with their child. Mama's House is a pregnancy rescue center with a sense of community in love, respect and support. RAP Foundation's program, NPO Centric is amazing. Working with Stephanie and Gracie, I was able to get a $10,000 grant for my nonprofit. I have never been able to get one before, but I could never figure out why. Their guidance helped me a lot. They offer some great workshops, too.

Foster’s friend helps humans fostering animals and also cat parents who just need a little boost financially because of a pet medical situation or food purchase etc.

My husband and I are forever grateful for the Desert Arc. Our 27 yr old son has been attending for 5 yrs. and he enjoys attending. Our lives would be so different right now without this facility and all they do for our desert community. <br>Special needs adults require so much from parents and it can be extremely stressful. My husband works as a CalFire captain and is gone a lot, the majority of care is on my shoulders. But, with the adult service during the day it gives us parents some respite and also allows parents to still be able to work and provide for their family. <br>Desert Arc has been a huge blessing in our lives. Forever grateful.

The Desi Strong Foundation is an incredible blessing to the many families fighting pediatric cancer. The financial assistance, donations to research and of course..the Desi Strong Doll. The Desi Strong Doll brings so much comfort and joy to kids fighting through this journey, this Doll was created in Desi’s likeness and also “has cancer”. She’s bald and also has a port so children can “treat her”. It is an absolute blessing to be a part of this Foundation. Desi is missed tremendously, but this Foundation keeps her memory alive by spreading Desi’s Love.

Hello my name is Melissa okelly and I am 51 years old and I am a successful registered dental assistant, skin expert esthetician and a manicurist. I have been raised with horses since childhood and have showed horses and some of the most high end shows in English and in Western. I recently noticed this beneficial cause that not only deal with disabled children but also horses & ponies who need a little extra help. I am willing to do whatever you need help with whether it be guiding children with the horses up to cleaning horse stalls.

They lack accountability of their resources. They will not be open to discussing other volunteer opportunities and mostly promote parties were there is a heavy presence of alcoholic beverages. Just a few choose the projects to work and don't encourage participation of its members.
