Essentially I was very rudely told, I did not provide them with proof that I could take care of myself for one more month even with their help. Part of that was I was told I did not need that much proof, only a month of income, to begin with. I was baited by this organization to give them personal information. <br> <br> What was very disgusting was how I was told I was not going to be allowed to prove that I could on the very day my bill was due. They waited 11 days to let me know they were not going to pay the bill. As a fact I use an online telephone so interruption of my services would cause me seriously to not be able to take care of myself. <br> <br> This is SEXISM and racism in the south plain and simple. Gloria Allred should take up as a cause how silencing women is used to literally push them out of their homes. I have one if not close to two degrees. I've worked in a family business since I was a teen, worked for several corporations before suing the New York Times for sex discrimination in the 1980's. I then stayed home with my mother, to protect her from these type of men. <br>Lastly, I have a skill level, because I grew up in a computerized industry in the 1970's, few can match. <br> <br>This organization participates in local Corruption. They misrepresent information to push people economically downward. In over 30 years as an activist, and I don't mean in a small way, i took a case pro se to the Supreme Court writing about local corruption during and after the case. I've lived on less than 6,000 a year for a few years. After my mother died, I became more open against reclaimed phosphate lands and chemical poisoning. <br> <br>I've created a website am hosting videos online. In the last four years I've worked hundreds of hours every week For the first time in 30 years I asked for help from a local agency. I have a very public facebook page of videos and facts about housing on wetlands, reclaimed phosphate mines. <br> <br>Oct 11th in one of many foreclosures, my own, I was one of few persons to document in Court the corruption in forcing silence about contaminated and flooding wetlands. Economic sanctions are severe. Denial of health care is purposeful, this last month I lost a beloved cat due I believe to contamination in the home. Homes <br>are flooding outside repeatedly on my street, many have breaking copper pipes, a few have had sewage in their home and my subdivision has had roads close due to non action by the county. <br> <br> The houses sold in foreclosure by the county don't have any warning on them. <br> <br>I had spent 2 months pumping water from my backyard and become sick from being out in the rain. I have not had health care for RA in 3 decades. I have 4 months in the home to take down or otherwise sell what are my 3 generations of documents from business and personal items, some more than a hundred years old. <br> <br>I asked for help from the Mulberry Community Service Center Inc on October 16th. The First Time I had asked for help here anywhere. The office told me exactly what to bring in and what I needed to do to pay. On October 19th I took all my documents I was asked to bring into the office, I was told it was not a problem. This was a once in a lifetime - one time payment for my Electric Bill. I needed time to recover from my illness as I was <br>having severe RA inflammation from sandbagging 49 bags, running pipes and pumps and constantly moving furniture during the 2 month rainy season, while I was doing legal research and taking care of my sick/dying cat. <br> <br>October 19th I filed a thirty day income from selling my household down. I had told them the heirs of the house were going to give it up because both the EPA and the Department of Health had told me if I am below t he water plane in a phosphate mined land the chemicals pushing into my household could be toxic or pesticides. I was told I had met the requirements. and at the time that had only been to show a form of income coming in for a month. The last year I had lived alone and sustained myself alone on selling what I had accumulated from a lifetime and some other things that can be picked up in the trash. I work long hours and have a plan to turn this around when I get out of the house on my feet. I don't have time for a job until I'm out of this chemical hell. <br> <br>There has been an overwhelming campaign to cripple me economically, so that I do not get out of this house on my feet. I've written about it on my facebook page at filmstudiofaux. TECO Electric told me that a Promise to pay notice had been sent to the from this organization on October 19th, TECO's Account Manager told me. On <br> <br> October 30th, the due date of my Electric Bill, MCS called me to tell me that I did not qualify I was too poor, had provided too little paperwork. - I offered to show more proof of income. They indicated that them helping me would not keep me on my feet for another 30 days. <br> <br>I offered copies of sales numbers from online sites where I am selling down my personal items and a copy of my bank account statements showing I had been paying bills for a year. The program coordinator told me that was not enough. I needed a Federal Tax Form, simply put I have not made enough money to file one. What I have done is non traditional work on the internet as a reviewer for a major corporation as well. <br> <br>The educational level of this area is below average, I was told again rudely, I was doing something nobody does. <br>Yeah, I work 24/7, particularly during rainy season and this year I was a broken person. <br> <br>Mulberry Community Service Center's Facebook page as of Today October 30th shows a picture of the man who says they will not pay my electric next to their last big donor. That donor is a huge Phosphate Company from up North that was in October of 2015 Fined for having not cleaned up contaminated waters on their mines. One of those mines in near my housing development. <br> <br>FINANCES OF THE MULBERRY COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER, <br>Over 1/3 of their funding goes to pay Office Expenses, Telephones, Salaries. <br> <br>I am a user of Google Voice free phone service the phone line costs are absurd. My father, before he died ran an accounting and tax business, and we all taught at a business school. Locally this area has no recovered from the economic downturn and office supplies and equipment can be picked up for next to nothing. So many small business people are still going under, my brother lost his entire business. <br> <br>The expenses for teaching 37 people financial training at 18,000 could not possibly be a sound figure for use of grant money, as I've been a teacher at a business school. <br> <br>The 1993 IRS Form 990 shows the Following numbers: 152.130 Contributions, gifts <br>grants etc, Salaries, fees benefits 48,588 Expenses 9,769 The Organization is designed to <br>act as an informatio and referral service to meet the emergency needs of the people in mulberry, <br>florida area as funds permit Expenses Include 1,937 Telephone <br>Office Expenses of 1,717 Payrol taxes of 3,365 Office Equipment 1,422 <br>PAYMENTS TO THE COMMUNITY TO HELP <br>Utility Bill Payments ELECTRIC for 209 People, $26,804 <br>Rent and Mortgage for 33 people, $9,601, Food for 2,076 at $15,944 <br>Clothing to 865 people at $3,986 <br>Other Direct Assistance to 43 people at 2,089 <br> <br>Financial Training to 37 people at 18,897 <br> <br>My father went to UCLA at Berkeley for accounting and I graduated from a Private College with further <br>studies in Law. If Polk County and City Governments were doing their jobs and the EPA were enforcing <br>the law here, I would not be forced to break my back and be selling everything I own just to survive. <br> <br>I would not donate to this organization until they were less discriminatory in their applications.
