In December 2014 the most beautiful face of a Mini Schnauzer presented itself in a photo from a rescue group. The eyes looked right through my soul. After all this beautiful creature had been through, he was happy. During the time after being rescued off the streets of PR, he received so much love, medical attention, nutrition and had been nurtured so completely, that his spirit was restored and his trust had begun to come back. TLC had not only saved his life, but his existence has since touched so many lives. His gentle spirit and ability to calm and bring a sense of peace to all that meet him, amaze me. He has such wonderment and curiosity as if he sees the world as a beautiful adventure and he is so full of joy that he shares through his interactions with other animals as well as his humans. Tammy and TLC did not just pull him off the street one day, they created an advocate. Hope that others could learn that each and every creature has the powerful ability to become special in ways unfathomable. I will continue to support such a fine group of volunteers in any way I can. Always helping animals in need! Abused and abandoned animals are rescued and sent from PR to USA to find their forever homes, TLC is the one helping us!
I can’t say enough great things about this rescue. I was lucky enough to get my dog through tlc . I later met Tammy at a reunion of dogs that had been rescued from PR. She really loves her babies and has kept photos of them through the years. She has reached out to me to keep tabs on my dog. Her heart and soul goes in to not only rescuing but also feeding and neutering of feral/ abandoned animals. There is a special place in heaven for this group
This is one of the most compassionate and honest animal rescues I've come across. Tammy puts her heart and soul into finding these neglected, abused and sometimes traumatized animals a loving home. She truly is a voice for the voiceless! A true animal angel!
TLC Animals Rescue, PR has help save thousand of animals fr being abused , neglected or left to defended his or her self at the streets of Puerto Rico.
They also helped many independent rescued and organization fr providing food, help with veterinay bills or supplies that is needed to help the animals for comfort or any equipment.
They are very caring and responsable organization. But most have help save many animals and find them a happy ending
They are very caring with their rescues, they are not in for the money like other organizations, they DO care! Their passion and empathy towards our 4 legged babies is noticed in their results every time they take care of a rescue!!
