Mission: Bennington County Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization that is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally by constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
Results: Twenty-three families have moved home and sixteen local homeowners have had necessary home repair work done on their houses to make them safer - all since 1997, when this affiliate first was founded.
