Nonprofit Overview
Mission: LGBTQ Support and Social Group USA a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity. Our aim is to support the local LGBTQ youth community. Some of our efforts include: Monthly meetings where LGBTQ youth, teens, and young adults can come together in a safe, accepting, and judgement-free environment to discuss issues of concern to them, socialize, play games, watch movies, or just hang out in a stress-free safe space. Parents, advocates, and allies are all welcome to join us at our meetings. Providing periodic outings and activities for LGBTQ youth and allies. Examples include trips to the Gay Pride Parade in Asbury Park, outdoor excursions, and mall hangouts. A yearly college scholarship award for an entering freshman in the LGBTQ community, supported by fundraising efforts throughout the year. Providing opportunities to hear informational and educational speakers on topics of concern to the LGBTQ community.
Target demographics: We help the lgbtq community to speaker and lgbtq college scholarship.
Geographic areas served: We work Clinton NJ Flemington NJ and Morristown NJ and we also have online meeting too.
Programs: We are providing a safe place for the lgbtq community to meet new friends and we have lgbtq speaker and event for the community.
