Received a telemarketing call from a 406 number (406) 794-3089<br>Caller was older sounding woman. the call sound like a scripted dialogue<br>Identified as Dept of Mont Veterans of Foreign Wars<br>Instant for to make a pledge, kept persisting<br>Did not answer my questions, if there was a secure online method to donate.<br>Insistent to sent mail<br>She pronounced my city "Heleena", so definately not a local<br>After I confirmed my name, home and address then ended the call<br>I received the mail, and it contains a VFW brochure with a letter<br>The letter contains a pledge number, a sticker and an envelope to mail a check<br>The letter content has the following notice on the back at the bottom in standard text<br>"The VFW programs would not be possible without community sponsorship and support. It is for this reason the Association has retained the services of Frontline Support, LLC with assistance from the United Partners Outreach, Inc., as a campaign organizer and professional Fundraiser, who when required has registered with the state and who shall assist with sponsor enrollment and delivery of services and shall receive as costs, expenses and fees, a portion of the solicited funds raised through solicitation for such services. A portion of the gross sponsorship proceeds is used to defray the expense of public education, administration and the cost of this appeal.
