Please be careful when you take your animals to this place in town. Very unprofessional counter people and the Vet is completeLy out-of-control woman I took my dog there when he had skin mites and they diagnosed him with allergies made us pay hundreds of dollars for a missed diagnosis with no refund which probably would’ve killed our dog had we use the shots they gave us. Then I called to have another one of my dogs get a dental cleaning and thank God the morning of the dental cleaning I called to find out exactly what they were going to do and come to find out two days after they gave us an estimate they added on a bunch of extra stuff that we did not authorize and they also we’re going to neuter my puppy without my authorization. When I called to ask them why they were going to do this they all caught an attitudeThey told the doctor lies about my girlfriend cussing at them when they were the ones that were out of control very unprofessional dishonest to their boss about customers picking up their dogs. Then they threaten not to give me my animal until I paid them which is illegal they cannot do that there is no written agreement that says that you cannot pick your animal up until you Pay Them. Please be careful taking any animal to this vet I actually had to threaten to call 911 and press charges against them for stealing my animal in order for them to give him back. After I pick my animal up from the dental I walked out the door as I was leaving the Vet that works there was hanging out the door yelling and screaming at me telling me never come back etc. etc.And the only reason they get one star is because you have to give them one in order to post a comment

Our daughter Ciera was 18 months old when we rushed her to the local emergency room. Lab results demonstrated Ciera was in critical condition in need of blood. Her little body had 5 units of blood; she should have had 12 units. This hospital does not give blood to children under the age of 18, as it is not a children’s hospital. Policy mandates all children in critical condition must be flown to the nearest Children’s Hospital. The local hospital owned one helicopter which was in use. Ciera went on a waiting list; ETA four hours. Doctors would not discharge Ciera and parents were not allowed to remove the child from the hospital. It took 5 1/2 hours to transport Ciera to the nearest Children’s Hospital. Had her blood loss been due to an accident (automobile, boat, bike) she certainly would have died while waiting. Unfortunately this occurs more than anyone likes to realize. Ciera’s parents recognized this detrimental gap in policy, care, humanity, and vowed to create change. These events lead to founding our nonprofit, The Norona Effect so that no other family would find themselves in this helpless position. The Norona Effect advocates, fundraises, educates and hosts special events for children’s health and wellness in Mohave and LaPaz County, Arizona. To date we have provided financial help to more than 50 families who are forced to travel for treatment of a sick, disabled, or critically injured child. We hold support services for parents and inclusive children’s events. We are proud to serve our community.
