Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: Our all volunteer organization provides patient services to cancer patients who are unable to respond to the catastrophic health care costs associated with their treatment. We also sponsor prevention/detection programs for citizens of marquette county and participate in similar cancer programs sponsored by other county organizations.
Programs: Patient care services - provided financial assistance to 60 cancer patients resdiing in marquette county. This included help with medications, dressings, supplies, co-pays, deductibles, premiums, travel and other expenses not covered by insurance. We also assisted another 12 patients with advocacy time.
