Dragon's Den was just absolutely fantastic! Our Girl Scouts held a My Guy and Me event there this past Saturday and couldn't have had a better experience. Gideon and his team were just wonderful. From the planning to the final execution, things couldn't have gone more smoothly. We had 34 participants aging from 7 through adult and everyone left with a giant smile of accomplishment. We had a couple of girls petrified of heights. Once they gained confidence on the lower course, they braved it out and accomplished the higher course, too. We couldn't be prouder of them for challenging themselves and pushing their personal limits. This is a true hidden gem. I wish we knew of them sooner. We will definitely be back!

I BEEN IN THE PROGRAM SINCE 2019 BEING OVER MEDICATED NOT KNOWING WHAT WAS GOING ON. I WAS PAGED TO HELP OTHERS AND IN TRANSITIONAL SERVICES THEY KEEP YOU UNDER HEAVY MEDICATION AND COME PICK YOUR RENT UP. THERE SERVICE IS TO ENPOWER YOU TO DO FOR YOUR SELF THEY SURPOSE TO HELP WITH DOCTORS APOINTMENTS, SHOPPING AND GENERAL THINGS THAT MENTAL HEALTH PERSON HAVE.MY COUNSELOR JUST COME ND HAVE ME SIGN PAPERS AND PICK UP CHECK FOR RENT. NEVER GIVING ME A RECEIPT. THEREALTOR THAT HOUSED THEM SENT ME THE RECIEPT. COUNSELOR TOLD ME MY RENT WENT UP SO ABOUT FOUR MOUNTHS I PAY $314 AND THE REALTORS WOULD SENDD ME A RECEIPT TELL ME MY RENT $277. ISTART ASKING QUESTION DOING RESEARCH AND I DECIDED TO VISIT MY DAUGHTER IN OHIO AND PAYED TWO MONTHS RWENT. RETURNIG EARLY THEY SENT ANOTHER BILL STATING I OWED MORE MONEY.THE REALOR OFFICE SENT ME A PRINTOUT OF MY RENT, THEN I QUESTIONED COUNSELOR.THEN I GRADUATED AND GOT SECTION 8, NOVEMBER 15, 2021. I MOVED TO AN APARTMENT MY COUNSELOR FOUND THAT WAS A TRAP. THE NEW LANDLORD IS DOUBLE DIPPING AND SO IS COUNSELOR. THIS APARTMENT IS NICER BUT IT HAVE ROACHES, THE WATER IS LED INIT I HAVE TO BOIL THE WATER BEFORE I DRINK IT. SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE TUBE AND AIR COMES THREW WINDOWS NEED TO BE SEAL, I HAVE TO OPEN OVEN FOR HEAT. MY PASTOR DONATED ME ITEM FOR THE HOUSE BECAUSE THATS HIS WAY TO SAY SORRY FOR THR TRICKERY THAT WAS PLACED IN MY LIFE. HE HELPED ME PLACE A WEBCAM IN APARTMENT AND HELP PREPARED A LETTWR FOR ME AND I TOLD COUNSELORI HAD TAPE AND LETTER TO SEE IF SHE WOULD HELP TO SEE THE TAPE. I STOP TAKING PRESCIBTION MEDICATION HAD ME 220LB DEPRESSES, THEN THE GOVERNMENRNT DID EXPERMENT ON HUMANS MRNS VIRUS NOT THE COVID. I SUBRIBED TO YOUTUBE FOR HELP IT WORK BUT WAS TO STRONG SO I START ORGANIC. I ALSO ENROLLED FOR MEDICAL MARJUANIA, THATS WHEN COUNSELOR SURGESTED A CHIRROPRACTICS WHICH SOUND GOOD I WENT TO CHIROPRACTICS COME TO FIND OUT A CLEAN-CUT VOODOO DOCTOR WITCHCRAFT.CRACKED MY BACK AND ANKLE FEEL WORSER THAN WHEN I WENT. THE DOCTOR READ LETTER AND WHEN WE WENT TO LOOK AT TAPE HE SAID IT WASNT A TAP, HE SWITCHED IT ON ME. I INFORMED COUNSELOR AND TOLD HER I NEED A TRUCK TO GET THE THING THAT WAS DONATED TO ME SHE SAID YES, WHEN SHE CAME, SHE JUST CAME TO GET INFORMATION AND SAID SHE COULDNT TAKE ME AFTER SHE CAME.I REALLY DON'T LIKE THAT I DO THE WORK AND SHE TAKE THE CREDIT.I DONT THANK SO. IGOING TO TAKE THIS AS FAR AS I CAN GO, SHE TRIPLE DIPPING AND HAVE TO BE STOPPED.THERESA CARROLL INDEPENDENT.

Steel making and production has a deep rooted history in Southwestern Pennsylvania stretching back over 150 years. <br>The Rivers Of Steel Heritage Corporation is dedicated to preserving that history so that we can learn about it’s role in shaping the direction our region is taking. <br>As a volunteer with Rivers Of Steel, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to not only learn more about the history of the steel industry but apply what I’ve learned to the artwork I create and also pass on that knowledge to others by helping with tours and the many public events hosted by the organization. <br>Of the several sites cared for by the group, none is more enigmatic and awe inspiring than The Carrie Furnace. It continually offers up secrets of steel making’s past that provoke and fuel the imagination. <br>I am grateful for all the amazing people I have had the opportunity to meet and work with through Rivers Of Steel and hope to continue volunteering for many years to come!

Helping control the pet population. Angels of Mercy Rescue and Adoption, Dunbar, PA We do not have a physical location but we have clinics every month to spay and neuter cats. We had several fundraisers to start a fund for a building. We are on Facebook but are in the process of creating a website. We are a small group trying to do what is right. We rescue and have to have fosters for all animals. We have a lot of vet bills caring for the neglected and injured animals. Before I joined AOM I learned about them and I had 15 animals spayed or neutered. I live on a rural street where people drop off animals on my road usually pregnant. There is a group of about 10 that are doing the fundraisers and working to get a van to transport our animals to and from the vets for hospital care or the clinics. Our van gave out completely No van no clinics. We just had a mobile unit come to a church and we had 57 animals spay or neutered that day. We are a small group trying to help in every way we can. I give contributions myself to this and other non profits. I am feeling that I am making a difference with helping animals.

Throughout the years I have volunteered for various organizations but have always wanted to help an organization that strived to make a greater impact on individuals lives. Rainbow Kitchen Community Services fits that mold as they excel at everything they do and go beyond providing a nutritious source of food for low-income individuals or families. They enhance the well-being through various youth programs, clothing drives and community activities. I feel honored to serve as a Board Member and to participate in events to promote what a great organization Rainbow Kitchen Community Services is for the local community.
