The people who replied are not actual people who took service. This is not a nonprofit. The so called 'workers' harass people and make false claims about what people do. Harassing a 13 year old kid for retracting a donation. This isn't a crime, it's called a refund. They also harassed a gmod server group and started impersonating as a LEO. Claiming false thing due to personal vendettas.

Hi, I am Anthony and I served on "The Generous Garden Project" for 5+- years as a full time volunteer/partial management? maybe not the right word but helped run the garden with Bo and others. Truly a major manifestation and learning experience during what some would call difficult time in life. But I call a direct Devin intervention guiding me on my new path in life. I wish to give a blessing and shout out to all those I worked with and shared precious memories with. GOD's blessing on each of you. And to all the new folks I did not meet. I am now in the process of creating my life long dream of living off-grid and being mostly self sufficient lifestyle so I can be a blessing to self/family and local community.

My journey with Leatherwood Matters began in 1999, when I proudly joined as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer. At the time, I was looking for a meaningful way to serve my community and use my energy and skills to make a lasting difference. What started as a year of national service quickly turned into a lifelong connection with a mission I deeply believe in.<br><br>During my initial VISTA service, my focus was on capacity building, helping the organization strengthen its infrastructure, build community partnerships, and create more sustainable programs for at-risk youth. I worked closely with leadership to develop systems for grant writing, volunteer coordination, and donor outreach, all while staying engaged with the daily needs of the children we served.<br><br>What set this experience apart for me was the balance between behind-the-scenes work and direct interaction with the youth. I was involved in mentoring, tutoring, organizing recreational activities, and simply being a consistent, caring adult presence. Over time, I saw firsthand how structure, empathy, and opportunity could change the trajectory of a young person’s life.<br><br>Even after my formal AmeriCorps term ended, I remained connected to Leatherwood Matters in various volunteer and advocacy roles. The values I learned there servant leadership, compassion, resilience, and community responsibility that have shaped my personal and professional path ever since.<br><br>Leatherwood Matters became more than a service site; it became a place that shaped my heart for youth advocacy, my approach to leadership, and my lifelong commitment to creating safe and empowering environments for others.<br><br>JAF<br>

Had 6 bed frames and a desk, new in the box that came from a storage barn. Boxes didnt look perfect. Took to spartanburg (dawn redwing) to donate. Was told no. Called the customer service phone # for SC. Was told i had to call or go to individual stores to see if they would take them.<br><br>Habitate Restore was very glad to take them and said they wouldnt last long in the store once assembled.

Aqua Angels is more than a non-profit organization. It is a community of people who share a common fear that work together to overcome and learn life-saving swimming techniques. The instructors exhibit a passion for people and are welcoming to people from all walks of life. In a short amount of time, Aqua Angels has been able to possibly save the lives of hundreds of people.

STOP DO NOT WORK HERE OR GO HERE FOR SERVICES! If I could give this place no stars I would. Angela the CEO is a user and does not pay her workers. She is stealing/ mismanaging her Donation funds and can not properly pay her organization bills. Angela does drugs herself but expects those in the program not to and puts them out her houses when they do. You Angela should lead by example you are a thief, a liar and a flake. Angela is into witch craft and hires her staff with the promise of paying them for their services but instead pays you one time and never pays you again. She has been sued many times for money she owes her employees. She takes advantage of those in her program, her employees and volunteers and talks to them rude and unimaginable. Angela You will get everything that is owed to you. DO NOT DONATE TO THIS ORGANIZATION! DO NOT ATTEND THIS PROGRAM YOU ARE BOUND TO FAIL! DO NOT VOLUNTEER HERE! ORGANIZATIONS BEWARE!

My special needs son, David, loves everything about David's Table, from the participants to the volunteers, to the activities. He gets so excited about Camp David every year and the other annual events such as family picnic, Christmas dinner, and ukelele events. David's Table is a second home to him.

We have been involved in supporting Child Freedom Coalition for over 5 years. We first became acquainted with one of the founders, David Miller, when he was working with our teens. His passion for the ministry so impressed my teenagers that they shared Mr Miller's vision with us and we all became dedicated supporters. Mr and Mrs Miller and others have shared wonderful testimonies of how this ministry is impacting India for Christ. The 100% model is phenomenal as is the fact that orphans reached through this ministry are growing up to become independent adults who give back to the ministry as well!

I first got involved in Together Women Rise 14 years ago when I was on the Board of a young, cutting-edge NGO that got a grant from them. I spoke to some of the Rise chapters, and was incredibly impressed with the depth of their knowledge of and compassion for girls and women in low resource areas. I went back home and started a chapter myself, which turned into 3 chapters. We meet monthly and have become well-informed, committed supporters of Rise, loving the grantee we learn about each month. It has transformed the lives of 10s of 1000s of women and girls, providing guidance, education, role models, agency, and best of all HOPE. The total below is the combined amount our 3 chapters have raised. It's $91 a day. That might not sound like a lot, but in places where people live on a few dollars a day, it makes an enormous difference.

I am Lamin Njie studying Biology at the university of the Gambia. I got my admission at 2021 but i was not able to start my studies because i don't have money to pay for my tuition fees. Thanks to footprints in Africa for helping me through my studies from 2021 up to date. And am sending special thanks to Tammy Moore because she was the one who link me to footprints in Africa. Am proud of footprints in Africa and i will always be proud of Tammy as well. Long live footprints in Africa

I am a member of the museum. I love the interesting and education exhibits they bring to Greenville. Even better are the lectures they bring! I cannot find the right words to describe how much I love this place.

<br>Horrible cursed place. I arrived in the U.S. after having 2 strokes in the Philippines, hoping Fellow Countrymen would help me as I had no place to stay. The founder Dave Nardone, categorized me as having only been in the Marines for a few minutes compared to him as I had only served 6 years. Even though I was a combat mos 0311 who had served in war. Desert Storm. David hated me because I informed him the the Freemasons, (He is a 3rd degree Freemason), is a Satanic Organization. I was only treated with hate after I informed him of that and after that, he and his staff only tried to figure out a way to push me out. I was greeted by his staff on day one with screaming at me to get my shirt on, like I was in boot camp...even though I only owned 3 shirts and they happened to all be in the washing machine at the time. I was also told that my Filipino wife was a Mail Order Bride by another staff member. I came close to punching his teeth out for that. We were forced to watch sermons from prosperity gospel preachers like Steven Furtick, a pastor who lives in a giant mansion even as the Bible commands to store your treasures in heaven and not on earth. The staff at Fellow Countrymen did not know how to handle a normal, college educated person without a drug addiction. I was the only person staying there who passed all their random drug tests. They could only handle a good obedient drug addict who was there for the free canned goods in the cupboards. Dave Nardone got into the Charity Business as a money grab...to make himself a millionaire. He told me with his own lips. He does not have a true heart for charity. He only seeks to elevate himself and earn 40000 dollars through each man that comes through his doors. He promised me...and my son...that he would give me a car. A week later, he gave that car to another man, because there was no opportunity to do a "Photo Op" with me. David Nardone carries the Judas Curse. He is not real charity. Fellow Countrymen MADE me homeless. They forced me into the forest to fend for myself...but I did just fine. I didnt need their fake charity. I bought a car within 6 months of living in the Forest. I worked everyday and saved up 25 thousand dollars to get back to the Philippines while I was homeless. They didnt help me. I would not donate to Fellow Countrymen if I were you. You are only lining Mr. Nardone's pockets. They are a wretched and cursed charity. My tent in the forest was a much better alternative. David Nardone and Fellow Countrymen never once treated me like an actual human. A father with kids waiting for me to get home. They treated me like pure garbage. Nardone is a liar...outright. Look at their official website. There are no bad reviews because he deletes them and blocks those of us who write reviews of bad experiences. He has no integrity. luckily he cant delete my review on Yelp. Nardone is a disgrace to my Marine Corps and so is Fellow Countrymen. They are in it for the millions in revenue. Look at the screenshot. Nardone says he wants to help homeless Vets, and lessen their chance of suicide? Nardone made me homeless...and he makes Vets feel like committing suicide. He is in the wrong business. <br> <br>This part written by my wife: <br> <br>Do you know who my husband is, who you kicked out on to the streets? My husband is a man of high honor that you will never know. You Mr. Nardone, do not even have the courage or strength to admit that you promised my husband and his son, that you were giving him the white SUV, that you gave to a different man a week later, because you couldnt get a Photo Op out of my husband. <br> <br>Do you want to know the level of honor my husband has? My husband rights his wrongs, he humbles himself, he fixes when he has wronged someone. My husband took a blank cassette tape from a classmate in high school because he didnt think it was a big deal. The classmate had cases of them, so he would not miss if 1 was taken. When my husband decided to live a righteous life, he attempted to amend the people he had wronged. At his 20 year high school reunion, he approached the classmate, told him he had taken the blank cassette, apologized, and gave the classmate a 50 dollar gift card to Target. <br> <br>You were blessed to have a man of my husbands honor staying at Fellow Countrymen, even though you treated him like garbage. <br> <br>You denigrated my husbands service, claiming he had only been in the Marines a few minutes compared to you? So the bullets aimed at my husband during war were less potent than the bullets you faced? <br> <br>My husband has suffered 2 service connected strokes AND a service connected heart attack from being exposed to burn pits and burning oil wells...but his war was only a few minutes compared to yours? My husband is a disabled Vet, but he is not disabled from PTSD like you and your staff. 100% of his disabilty is from afib, ischemic strokes, and asthma. All from chemical exposure. <br> <br>You have some nerve. You allowed your staff to call me a Mail Order Bride to my husbands face and you did nothing? You havent witnessed my husband in a fight. Your staff is very lucky. My husband and I have our grandparents both his and mine buried near each other in the same cemetary. I am no Mail Order Bride. How dare you denigrate another Marines wife...or his service. <br> <br>One day they will make a movie about what my husband endured to take care of our family. Being homeless for 2 years because of you and others. He is a great man. They will learn the name David Nardone as well. <br> <br>I have firsthand witnessed your lack of honor Mr. Nardone. Wonderful organization! Giving families a option to have somewhere to reside while they face medical crisis with their children is just miracle work!

Love what this nonprofit does. <br>They funded electronic canines have found a minimum of 563 devices to lock up pedefiles and sex traffickers. <br>No one wants the victim to be their family member, but it could be. <br>Bust the criminals that are perpetrators.

​This orginization does a great job providing educational films and documentaries, as well as humanitarian services to children,<br><br>youth, seniors, low-income and disadvantaged families, immigrants and retirees living in<br><br>Greenville County and the state of South Carolina.

Great museum that supports outside of the box thinking. Would be great if the head of the museum could think outside the box when it comes to parking. Waited 30 mins to finally get out of the parking lot. Ridiculous and we won’t be coming back because of it.

UCAG does a phenomenal job of meeting clients where they are at & encouraging them on their individual goals while also integrating individuals into community with like-minded people. UCAG can improve their online presence. They are striving to do so during the COVID-19 changes.

My son, now 16 years old, has been involved with Project Hope Foundation since he was 5 years old. They have given me and my family such comfort and hope during this time. They are constantly thinking outside of the box and coming up with ways to help our children with autism thrive and become the best person they can be. They individualize their care for each child. They set lofty goals for each child to become as independent an adult as possible and then work tirelessly to reach those goals. I truly don’t know where my family would be if Project Hope wasn’t such an integral part.

I have been working at the Center for Developmental Services for almost one year. I had some contact with CDS previous to working here, but had no idea what all was housed under one roof. I was blown away by the modern-day miracles that are performed here. As I have been out in the community, I have heard testimony after testimony of how family members and acquaintances have been immeasurably helped by the caring and knowledgeable staff of CDS and its partner agencies.

What a wonderful organization! They offer many cultural programs and are highly active in the Upstate Area.
