Erowid and its extensive archive of non-judgmental, factual information about psychotropic agents probably saved my life. As a 12-year-old fascinated with drugs, Erowid armed me with the knowledge to understand risk and stay safe. The thought that substances could alter my perceptions, thoughts, emotions, and somatic experience, in predictable ways, and allow me to achieve a desired mental state was enthralling. There was never a question of whether or not I would experiment with drugs; the question was from where my information about drugs (if any) would come. The official programming provided at school was D.A.R.E. This condescending, fear mongering, anti-drug, pro-prohibition program mislead an entire generation of curious tweens and encouraged us to become snitches – active pawns in the racist (and lucrative) so-called “War on Drugs”. Many a bad trip was averted by knowledge gained from Erowid’s extensive archive. I am forever grateful and long live Internet 1.0!

Animal Place always amazes me with their consistent efforts to prioritize the safety, security, and happiness of the animals in their care. Thank goodness they exist! We need organizations like Animal Place to educate, enlighten, and inspire people as they learn the value of these precious creatures who share our lives. No matter if they are furry or feathered, winged or hooved, these animals are precious. It is our job to stand up for them as they can not do so for themselves. We must be the voices for the voiceless - and Animal Place helps to make that goal a reality.

My name is Funmilayo Aberejesu. I am a facilitator with full circle learning in the western part of Nigeria (Osun state). My journey with full circle learning started in the Gambia in 2013 where I met the founder and president,Dr Teresa Langness.<br> She provided a transformative and impactive training for selected teachers across the Gambia, I was lucky to be one of the trainees. Since 2013, I fell in love with this non profit and inculcated the educational model in my school, Solid foundation School in the Gambia. Mum Teresa as I fondly call her has been an encourager, motivator and role model to me in my journey with full circle learning.<br> Full circle learning educational model infuses purpose into learning,this approach to education is holistic, empowering, impactful and inspiring. <br>The foundational unit of the educational model which is character education has made a whole difference in my world. My capacity building skills received on the job has increased my knowledge and collaborative effort.<br> I have trained and mentor teachers and supervised community based projects such as skills acquisition,health disparities and poverty alleviation in my state. The teachers have been tools to transforming the lifes of the young ones in different schools. Full circle learning provided these impactful and educational experiences. Their vetting process was thorough, their form was easy to understand, and the staff member I was put in communication with was polite and competent. My search for a poodle has been put on hold due to an unfortunate incident that has changed my job needs in my dogs, but once I'm ready to resume my search, I'll be using them.

This school provides individualized instruction, equity based practices, engaging curriculum, and a focus on building supportive relationships with their students. Small class sizes makes this school accommodating for students who need a calm and welcoming átomos-here.

My beloved dogs passed within a year of each other at ages 14 and 15. I brought in to donate some of my dogs supplies. I arrived to a very very rude woman named Carolyn, she was bad mouthing another rescue in town. I thought they would be glad to receive this donation but I was treated with such disrespect when I was at the store. Very unprofessional.<br>By the way, I did leave approximately $100 in dog supplies with the ungrateful woman.

Woman called "D" was very rude and condescending. I walked in with a child in a stroller and she promptly told me I had to keep my child quiet as it was the stores policy! Mind you, my son was sleeping soundly in his stroller. Apparently, she doesn't like children

When I thought of hospice care, I always imagined it was for the patient. I didn't realize that it would be comforting for ME as well. Hospice of the Foothills was amazing from taking the stress out of getting my parents on hospice, acquiring the medical needs from oxygen - hospital bed - sponges- swabs- wipes-pads-you name it! , learning how I can care for my parents - and ALSO myself!, understanding the process of dying which helped my entire family, and being available immediately when they died, and after for bereavement care. Hospice of the foothills relieved stress, comforted, and made it so our parents deaths are now really a welcome memory with warm thoughts of time spent together instead of full of worry and dread. Thank you to the HOF staff!

Administrative expenses are wildly out of wack! Look at the publicly available 990 returns yourself, you will see office expenses in excess of 8% and fundraising expenses in excess of 30%! There are also a number of questionable choices made around categorizing expenses, such as storage as a program service expense. $432 for telephone and internet and $483 in rent on average per month for an organization run out of a home office is suspect at best. I have been involved with organizations with $8 million plus in assets that spend less on fundraising! Pair that with the fact that the "board" is all one family and anyone can see that something is VERY wrong here.

Working as a volunteer at AnewDay has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The staff is one that truly cares for the well being of their clients. They also hold firm to strong morals which is very rare in this day and age. They have supported me in many areas of my life and I feel extremely fortunate to be a part of the team.

Purpose Ranch is all about finding the right place and purpose for each and every horse. Ben and Jerry, a Belgian draft team were found at the aution, paid for (by the pound) and with lots of love and care became heatly and loved. They touched so many lives and after over 7 years, passed away old and missed! Ben lived to be 25 and Jerry was 23. This organization "connect people with horses" and it is always amazing at how much BOTH the peoples' and the horses' lives are improved. This rescue doesn't just feed the horses, it helps each horse learn to be a trusted partner with humans. Adopted horses have been taught confidence, riding, driving and how to trust! The humans are taught how to be good leaders and help the horse understand. It goes WAY beyond feeding and good care!
