Mission: The purpose of the organization is to provide heart operations, in american hospitals, for ukrainian children born with congenital heart defects which can not be corrected in the ukrainian hospitals due to lack of technology and equipment needed for delicate heart surgery.
Programs: The organization assisted children with effecting heart surgeries during the year. These costs included the purchase of surgical consumables for operations in ukraine, as well as transportation of the patient and a family member, lodging and other fees and incidentals. The costs amounted to $36,760.
in addition, the organization has received a restricted contribution in the amount of $50,000 that has been used to construct a surgery center in doneptsk, ukraine. During the current year the final payment of $14,000 was used from the restricted fund.
