Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Centers & Clubs
Mission: The lee county youth center provides quality, engaging activities in a safe and nurturing environment for the youth of lee county after school hours and during the summer months. We focus on youth from 1st-8th grade. We are a recreational program that does offer tutoring and mentoring as well.
Geographic areas served: We work with youth in central Texas, Lee County. Lee County is a very low income area and there is a great need for children not only after school and with homework but also over the summer break. We feed them and give them help with homework and they get to enjoy a fun safe environment daily.
