I’ve had the privilege of volunteering with the Cooper Trooper Foundation for more than 12 years, and it is truly an organization that holds a very special place in my heart. I’ve seen firsthand the time, love, and dedication that goes into supporting families affected by childhood cancer—especially the siblings who can sometimes feel overlooked during such a difficult time. The Cooper Trooper Foundation has an incredible mission and is made up of people who genuinely care about making a difference. Over the years, I’ve watched this organization grow and continue to impact so many children and families in meaningful ways. I’m incredibly proud to be a small part of such a wonderful organization and would encourage anyone looking for a great local cause to support, volunteer with, or donate to the Cooper Trooper Foundation. The work they do truly matters, and I can’t say enough good things about this organization and the people behind it!

Finding Balance is committed to pointing to Jesus and helping others find freedom from food and body image struggles. No matter where you or your family member is on their journey. I listen to their podcast semi-regularly and have been receiving the daily vitamin which is a short and simple dose of scripture tied to how it might help bring truth in the realm of food and or body issues. A short daily dose of truth and hope. I recently joined their free community to have some additional support and these ladies “get” the struggle and are so supportive! You know they pray for you and nothing more powerful than prayer. Very grateful Finding Balance found me. No matter if you dip your toe in or dive in, God is in this organization.

I have had the opportunity to serve on 2, with one upcoming medical outreach teams through this organization to serve the communities in Guatemala who are in need of access to health care. Being able to work with the shalom foundation has been absolutely incredible! How many patients they have served and how many lives they have changed is miraculous! Being able to go out into rural parts of Guatemala who have little access to health care, evaluating patients and being able to identify children in need of surgical intervention and being able to have that provided through the Shalom Foundation is a blessing to be able to provide to these communities. I am blessed to be able to work along side the Shalom Foundation!

Whenever you receive the news that someone you love has cancer, or has had a miscarriage, or has lost a loved one, you are so saddened and don't know what to do. Bearing Others Burdens has been a wonderful blessing and relief that there is something you can do. Knowing that I can contact Bearing Others Burdens, order one of their bags, and have them sent to my loved ones has helped so much. They are wonderful to work with, very caring, empathetic, and dependable. I can't say enough wonderful things about this nonprofit.

An organization that brings people together to establish homes for their neighbors. With skyrocketing home prices, we need the work of Habitat more than ever.

Volunteering with Hard Bargain is a great opportunity to join the community in preserving an established predominantly African American community of moderate income homes. I have had a chance to help elderly neighbors age in place with home repairs, and also to support building new attainable workforce housing. With programs and services at Ty's House, Hard Bargain Association provides invaluable programs and services to community members, and really is the heartbeat of the neighborhood.

Appreciative of the dedicated volunteer team from this nonprofit, which has been assisting pet owners for two decades by offering the necessary resources to prepare for the potential scenario where their pets may outlive them.

Kudos to GOV for its dedication to teaching sexual wholeness, building family relationships, and transforming culture through equipping communities. I’ve greatly benefitted from the parenting workshops, worldview talks and curated resources that helped me better understand the tough topics and equip me to disciple my children and mentor youths in today’s culture.

After interning with this organization, I can confidently say that they are 100% transparent in their work. Grateful to be apart of this org.

This league is an embarrassment to the community and to non-profit recreational sports leagues everywhere. The politics are worse than travel soccer leagues. There are teams of 10 year olds that have been playing together since they were 5 including the coaches and all the new kids are on the same two teams which leads to teams who are beat upwards of 12 - 0 every single week.<br><br>This harms all the players as those teams that have extra weeks of practice, the most qualified coaches, the most skilled players and have been together for years can not improve or learn what the sport is really like when they are never challenged. For the kids who have never played before with coaches who have never coached before they will never want to play soccer again after a season of brutal beat down after brutal beat down with no instruction on how to improve. <br><br>This league should be shut down and a new honest and fair NFP should take its place. I am a parent and played in this league 25 years ago as well as refereed. This league is nothing what it used to be. What a shame and smear to the sport!

I can’t say enough good things about this rescue. The people are compassionate and competent. They guided me every step of the way adopting my new dog Riley. Highly recommend!

terrible rescue. so unprofessional. failed me on a home visit that wasn't even completed. will not tell me what they found so concerning. conflicting information. do not adopt from here!

It has been amazing to see this organization and the people around it support and inspite of Covid have helped the people of Haiti! Seeing life changed here and there is something people can be apart of!

Great organization for kids/adults who need added instruction and patience for dancing. Here everyone is a great dancer. They are provided so many opportunities for learning new skills, sharing their uniques talents and and making new friendships. Guys and Girls are welcome!!

Located in the Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital, this current non-profit takes in any and all injured and/or orphaned wildlife where as many other hospitals turn them away. They care for and stabilize them prior to transporting to NJ licensed rehabilitation facilities.

I have been an avid fan of Graceworks Ministries for 9 years now. This is the primary source for help with food, rent, medicine, clothes and on. <br> <br>The fuel bag program sends at risk kids home every weekend with a nutritious meal and a snack. In many cases, those kids would go hungry if not for subsidized breakfast and lunch at school during the week. Now they can also eat on the weekend.

Virginia took me on a tour of the sanctuary, the buildings are brand new, well stocked with food and supplies and full time employees to care for the cats. The rooms are neat and clean and the outdoor spaces are safe for the kitties to enjoy the sunshine. The office staff is knowledgable and helpful and I have found them to be very professional in their conduct. They obviously take great care and pride in their sanctuary. I have been to the sancuary many times when they hold their spay and neuter clinic to have cats fixed and higly recommend placing a cat at their facility (when they have space).

I have personally witnessed the amazing joy of families and their family member who has an intellectual challenge when BrightStone accepts them as a student. One dad was seen pushing his adult daughter in a wheel chair down the BrightStone hallway with a huge smile and skipping as he went! One mother cried tears of joy when she received the news! One adult cried when he had to leave after the interview because he thought he was there to stay. Another adult jumped up and down with excitement while her caretaker sister smiled with tears flooding down her face! This overwhelming joy is because they find a place that not only provides for their adult with a developmental disability in a loving, caring environment, they find a place that treats them with dignity and personal value. This is because BrightStone provides post secondary education classes in such areas as: vocational training, functional academics, art, music, social skills, nutrition and cooking, physical education, community awareness --- all with a full time nurse and a variety of therapies offered as well. Wow! The value of the lives and skills of the adults who have special needs is obviously the primary issue, not babysitting! What a great place! What a great blessing to the families and their adult! What a great ministry!

We are the parents of two young men with individualised special needs.The ARC of Williamson county and its staff ,specially Ms. Sharon Botorff has been a great support and resource person. She has guided us through the school years , IEP's , PATH. Advised us during transition years. We are very Thankful for all the educational opportunities provided to our family. Their support has helped the boys become successful in their life.

What an honor and privilege to serve as a volunteer in support of Feed America First! Number 1: it is a local agency designed to support the local people of the Murfreesboro area..Number 2: the agencies and people receiving the food, drink, cleaning items and health aids are receiving the best that local distributors are producing for the general public..and Number 3: Feed America First's staff truly has a God centered heart to provide the freshest, most healthy food that it can secure for distribution at the lowest possible cost for all. Without the work of Feed America First, not only would this community suffer, but many others in and around the Murfreesboro, TN area. I encourage any and everyone to become involved with the work of Feed America, both with their time and their resources! You will never reqret it and plus, you are serving the Lord in providing help for the poor and hungry, Please don't put it off, become a servant!

Did you know that the Sussex County St.Patrick's Day Committe, Inc. has a chosen charity eveery year picked by the Grand Marshal. The Committee, then donates all the proceeds from their 50/50 to that designated Charity. These Charities are in Sussex County. Some listed to date are: GInnie's House. SCARC. , Partnership for Socisal Services, Meals on Wheels. Although The Committee is a not for profit themselves they still make it an rule that monies go to local charities. They are not just the organizers for the Sussex County parade but also host a Grand Marshal dinner and Traditional Irish Breakfast each year. all of which promote Irish culture. Giving back to the community is something they take very seriously. Sponors from Sussex county help defray the cost of the parade. Without one group help the other none fo this is possible. So Great job Sussex County St.Patrick's Day Committee keeping the community spirit alive.

The Family Action Council of Tennessee (FACT, an oxymoronic acronym if I ever heard one) is travesty of an organization. They claim to stand for family values and improving family functionality, health and safety and all that, but my experience of them is that they are deceitful, intolerant, exclusive, and most of all, promoters of hatred. <br> <br>Recently, FACT teamed up with David Fowler to lobbied against a piece a legislature that requires vendors to the municipal government in Nashville to sign a non-discrimination affidavit (towards LGBT folk). FACT with other silent organizations to get TN state legislators to ratify a blanket policy, articulating that individual municipalities in TN (like nashville or any other city) cannot diverge from state regulations for small business; in other words, since the state doesn't have a non-discrimination policy towards LGBT folk, neither can Nashville. <br> <br>Ostensibly, this policy was passed to help small businesses adhere to state regulations, if that was actually the case, why was FACT involved at all? What do they have to state regulations? Nothing. Absolutely, positively nothing. <br> <br>From what I've read and talked to people from FACT, they're main concern is that people of alternative lifestyles aren't corrupting their children or business. That basically, LGBT folk are degenerates of society. <br> <br>How can they call themselves a Family Action Council when they promote hate for other people, instead of love and acceptance? All I can say is that I will never, ever give a dime to these people, recommend volunteering for them or do it myself. While I believe they do some good with food drives and other charitable givings, I would also be able to, in the same breath, bless Stalin's dictatorship for taking care of people who agreed with him - forget the hundreds of thousands of people he killed. Promoting hate and intolerance, in my mind is the same. <br> <br>Until FACT seriously revamps its message, I will campaign against them, and continue to advise anyone who reads this review to please think twice before offering your time, talents or capital to these people.

What a great organization for us to be a part of. I have watched it from the inception and am proud to have and will continue to donate towards this worthy organization. Global Tribe, you guys ROCK ! ! ! ! <br> <br>D. Michael Kruggel
