Charlie's Angles Adoption Contract is unreasonable when you get an un- behaved animal from their facility. The contract states that you must return the animal back to them however this is on their terms only and dose not consider the circumstances of the unpleased adopted parents of the new pet. Nor any other animals that might be effected in the home were the adopted pet was taken into. They feel no responsibility to you the adoptee but only to themselves. They could careless about your problems but only their needs. I appreciate them trying to help get animals adopted but when the situation does not work out. Their attitude is keep the animal until we have room, and that is not always what is best for the person who adopted the animal. DO NOT ADPOT an animal from this animal rescue. Both the animal and the person who adopted the animal will have trouble trying to return the animal if the animal does not work out in your home or has behavior problems. Please DO NOT ADOPT from this facility.

Mission: Our mission is to rescue adoptable dogs and cats from municipal shelters
Target demographics: homeless dogs, cats, puppies, kittens be safe & well cared for to find forever homes or foster homes
Geographic areas served: Henderson, Buncombe, & surrounding Counties, North Carolina
Programs: We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations and grants. -in 2017, more than 800 animals were rescued. -we have been in operation since 2009 and have operated a no-kill shelter since 2012. -in 2014 we started an innovative, one-of-a kind foster partnership with the aloft hotel. To date, more than 350 dogs have been adopted through the program. The program gained national attention and is now being replicated by other hotels across the country. -we partner with the swannanoa women's correctional center for the new leash on life program. This program pairs dogs with inmates who work with the dogs to teach basic obedience training.
- all animals in our care receive extensive medical care from the basic vaccination protocols, to treatment for heart worms, eye care, and surgery. -we are governed by a volunteer board of directors.
