Wonderful work being done here! I love to go to Angels gala events and hear the beautiful stories about children and families whose lives have been forever changed by fostering through Angels.

The Oklahoma City Youth Hockey Association is no longer a non-profit entity. The OKCYA still exists as a front for the purposes of maintaining its sanction with USA Hockey, but all the income derived by the association now goes to Oklahoma City's two ice rinks. There is a board, but none of the members were elected and there are no public board meetings or minutes of any meetings shared with association parents. The individual who is President of the Board is also the general manager of one of the ice rinks and does not have a child playing in the association. <br> <br>Since the real non-profit association was taken over by the rinks, prices for team apparel and team fees have almost doubled across the board. And again, all excess funds (profits) now funnel to the rinks. Development camp prices which were once offered by the Association at reasonable fees have now been turned into pricey, "mandatory" camps your player must allegedly attend if they want to be considered for travel teams. In addition, all apparel offered for purchase for association members (t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc) now goes through the screen printing company owned by the wife of one of the board members and those prices have almost doubled as well. <br> <br>Bottom line is, if your child wants to play hockey in Oklahoma City, you'll be paying exorbitant prices at every turn (especially when compared with other non-profit hockey associations in other communities) for the benefit of the rinks and some cronies. None of the money you spend will "go to a good cause."

CASMEO is doing great work supporting education and workforce growth in Oklahoma specifically in STEAM areas.

Very poor donor communication; multiple attempts to get an acknowledgment letter of a donation received no response despite promises; no annual report received to date despite two donations in two years.

Without this group of women I truly don't believe I would still be here. I was lost, broken, rejected, addicted, drowning and desperate. I have never in my life walked into a room full of so much peace and love and acceptance. These women truly loved me right where I was and stood with me and poured that love and so much life into me. My restoration began immediately and every day I learn and grow because of this group of women and the true love they show me, I now get to serve among them restored, healed, accepted, free, and whole. I now get to receive and love on women who are just like I was and go out everyday in my life and pour life into others.

The Fine Arts Institute of Edmond has served my children for years in art classes,camps, birthday parties and chorus. My children developed such creative minds, and have developed such an incredible sense of individuality and appreciation for those around them. The artist creativity is amazing and the staff is wonderful.

Fostering sweet dreams has a huge impact on families in Oklahoma trying to keep their children withing a kinship placement and help them find permanency faster, simply by provide bedroom furniture. The goal is so simple, but the outcome is deeply complex. So many lives are forever changed by the kindness of this agency. I have been able to place siblings together because a foster family needed one more bed. To the children who were placed together, this was their only hope after being taken from their parents. Thank you FSD for changing lives one bed at a time.

My children grew up acting in musicals produced by Upstage Theatre. Through the amazing directors and producers, my children have learned the art of being who they were meant to be by embracing their talents and creativity in each role, as well as getting over the fear of stage fright. Learning these skills outside of social media is a huge factor in learning to communicate as an adult and developing life skills and decision making, not to mention fun.

Great group that helps gets pets spayed/neutered and also emergency medical care

The Civil Air Patrol is a great organization or youths and adults interested in aerospace or emergency services. I've been volunteering with this group off and on since the mid 90's, and the people that are part of this specifc unit are fantastic.

Each month a different water project is highlighted. Great source of information.

Great club with great coaches. Just make sure your kid doesn't get stuck with Quinton Kraeer, especially if she is a beginner. I feel robbed. We paid the same as every other team and did not receive what we were promised. The club has ignored my calls and the man in charge has totally blown off our concerns. The coach gets upset at the girls when they lose, yet he doesn't coach or teach them. The college students (his assistants) have been the coaches...so much for expertise coaching and solid technical instruction. THE CLUB HAS NOT TRIED TO CORRECT THIS AND WE'VE BEEN IGNORED EXCEPT WHEN IT'S TIME TO MAKE MY PAYMENT!

I am a Professional with over 30 years of experience in providing services to abused and abandoned children. I had the privilege to visit the foster care community at Peppers Ranch in January of 2015. What a wonderful place for children to find safety and encouragement. Well thought out program. I am encouraged that these homes are available to children in Oklahoma. Great Job!!!

I was the founder of another Labrador Retriever Rescue, Lab Rescue OK, Inc. Over the years we have worked with rehoming Labs & educating the public in OK. We have had great experiences working with Heartland Lab Rescue on Labrador Retrievers in need in the OKC area and western side of the state. They have obtained Veterinary care for many Labs from Shelters. They get them healthy. They have treated many for heart worms and Ehrlichiosis. The dogs are fostered in loving homes. All of the dogs are neutered and healthy when adopted. When adopted the adopter goes through a background check and home visit. <br> <br>Cannot say enough good things about Heartland Lab Rescue INC. They are overwhelmed with dogs and always do it right. They put the best interest of the dog first. Medical bills and Veterinary care are always taken care of by Heartland Lab Rescue. First class organization with first class volunteers who all work for free. All experiences have been great where Heartland Lab Rescue has become involved with rescuing a dog. They have a tough job and do it right! <br>KC

We attended the concert/fundraiser this week. What a great program. Both my wife and I were impressed with the program. This organization is making a difference.

Greater Oklahoma City Youth has a program called Fields & Futures that is changing Oklahoma City. Their mission is Igniting Success--One field, one coach, one student at a time. They rebuild athletic fields and provide equipment, they are supporting coach professional development to help coaches have the resources they need, and Fields & Futures is also partnering with OKCPS to build a mentoring program at their middle schools. I especially love hearing the students so excited about their fields and new equipment. They are more engaged, they feel appreciated and they are doing better in school! In fact, at one middle school, participation in sports has almost tripled since the new fields were finished.

The members of the ORPS are hard working public servants. They go over and above what is needed to do their jobs and represent Oklahoma in many quality of life issues nationwide.
