What a great rescue. The dogs they adopt out are incredible. The prison training program is top and notch and continually growing. I will never adopt anoth rescue unless it's from 911.
So disappointed to learn that this non profit euthanized a young sweet dog who had been deemed highly adoptable because the dog did not do well with children. This in my opinion is not a rescue.
911 Dog Rescue could not be better! They helped place a dog I brought in as a stray with a loving foster, who will then place her in a loving forever home. It was immediately obvious just how passionate Amy is about rescuing and caring for dogs, her organization is truly great.
I’ve been blessed to be a 2 time foster fail. Five years ago, Bella, a Terrier Maltese mix came to live with me and fit in so well she never left! Six months ago, I got the call about a cute Pug who needed some love and attention. Penny even gets to have play dates with one of the other pugs that was rescued from the same place!
Both of my rescue dogs have made themselves at home and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Amy was so helpful and has made the process of adopting so easy.
It’s hard for me to put into words what 911 Dog Rescue has done for our family. We have 2 dogs from here. Adopted a year apart. I will never look for a dog elsewhere. The owner of the rescue feels like a member of our family. If you are looking for a rescue dog, look no further, 911 Dog Rescue cares the most. Our pups are the most loving animals I have ever met. They have brought so much joy to our lives due to the amazing preparation from 911 Dog Rescue.
Amy is very helpful, kind and caring. I deeply appreciated her insights as she delivered the dogs as well as her follow up in the days after. Amy has a huge heart and passion for what she does. I am grateful for her and all of the work she is doing!
911 Dog Rescue is a fabulous organization that paired me up with my perfect dog! Amy was so great to work with. She communicated throughout the process and regularly checks in to make sure my dog and I are doing well. I felt very supported throughout the process and even after while my dog got acclimated. I couldn’t imagine working with a better rescue!
We have had two wonderful experiences with 911 Dog rescue. They really get to know their dogs and can give you a great idea of what to expect when the dog comes into your home. They truly want to make sure it is a great fit for the dog, but also for your family. We will use them again and again.

We adopted Ruby (aka Reba) from 911 Dog rescue. She was terrified of everything and wasn’t used to human touch. We were a family of 5 with two aging dogs looking for a happy go lucky dog. But something about her picture spoke to me. Many people would have walked past her in a kennel and written her off as damaged, but 911 saw her potential and her sweet, sweet nature. After spending some time with a wonderful foster mom, Ruby came to us. It hasn’t always been easy, but she’s become a member of our family. We love her so much and can’t imagine our family without her.
They had a great dog for us he came right to us right away we knew when we took him home for a Trial to see how he gets along with are other dog we knew he was staying with us we have now had him for five years great addition Amy is great to work with
We could not have been happier with Amy and foster mom Kim when we adopted our Cocoa!

About 14 months ago a picture of a chocolate lab shows up as being rescued from a puppy mill. She was very afraid and leery of people, especially men. From the moment I saw this precious dog I knew I wanted to adopt her. The foster mom Kim worked with Cocoa for over 2 months before she felt she was ready for a permanent home. Many applications were received to adopt her. We were the lucky family Cocoa chosen as her forever home! 911 dog rescue, Amy Beam and all of her fosters and trainers are one of the best rescue organizations in our area. They really care about the animals they rescue. The dogs receive rehabilitation, if needed and training so that they are successful in placing the animals in forever homes. Amy also has a prison program that helps the dogs and the inmates. I would adopt from her again in the future and would recommend them to friends and family.
We feel so lucky to have gotten our pup from 911 dog rescue. The prison program is great to help give their dogs basic training to help with the transition into a home. We could not have asked for a better dog to become part of our family!
After losing my Baby Girl after 12.5 I was heart broken. Amy Beam was completely professional from our first conversation to the moment I picked up my new baby. She was kind, loving but made no excuses for what she expected from anyone who adopted one of her babies. Her application process was in-depth and her adoption contract was stern in what she expected. I would highly recommend her adoption program.
Amy and her team have not only been an absolute joy to work with and learn from, but has provided us with a furry family member that has changed our life for the better. I cannot express how thankful we are for the people who worked to save, train and love on our Taze until she was able to graduate fully trained. Since picking her up we cannot imagine life without her. We recommend Amy’s Adoptables over and over to our friends and family.

We rescued our little Chloe when she was just 12 weeks old. She came from a very large litter that the organizer rescued by first rescuing their pregnant mom and caring for her through her birth and after, in addition to her pups. Amy was very thorough in the adoption process, with a detailed application and selective screening. We waiting several weeks after being accepted and finally got to meet our girl and take her home. All the puppies were healthy and obviously well cared for. We decided to use our own veterinarian to have her spayed, but were thankful for the option of being able to have it done at the rescues vet if we wanted (which was included in the adoption fee). 8 months later we actually ended up adopting another dog from the same litter (Chloe’s brother) from the organization as well, his name is Rookie. He had been through the prison program they work with, and was fully up to date on vaccines and was neutered. We love them both so much and are so thankful for Amy and all the other volunteers who took care of them before they came into our lives. They are silly, unique, and very entertaining parts of our lives, and they both get along very well with their older “little” brother Benny.
911 Dog Rescue is PHENOMENAL!!! I love that Amy Beam always puts the dog's best interest before anything else!! She makes sure the dog and people are a great fit. Love the prison program also. Our MacGyver graduated from the prison program. He fits our lifestyle and we fit his :-)

Caring, diligent, and professional group. They thoroughly vet both their adoptive families AND their fur charges! It isn’t a first come first served adoption process—the very BEST homes are selected for each of the animals. No shelters or cages, each animal is fostered in a real home — learning the ropes with experienced loving homes!
I have had the chance to adopt 2 amazing lab mixes from Rescue 911. Both of these fur babies were so lucky to have been in Amy’s care. The adoption process is detailed and very well thought out. You know that Amy loves these babies and will only send them to a home where she knows they will be loved. I’m lucky that I found this rescue.
I got my dog from Amy. He is the best dog anyone could ever ask for. I am so grateful that he was rescued and taken care of even though it was only a short while before I saw him online and adopted him. I saw a photo of a, not yet available, dog that was posted by his foster mom. "Casper" is an albino Shih Tzu mix. I fell instantly in love with him at first sight. I know most rescue agencies prefer not to adopt to out of state pawrents but took a chance and filled out the applications. Casper had a lot of pre-existing problems and an attitude to match but I just knew we belonged together. I have to say, my sister fosters for this rescue and my niece helps as well. If not for them vouching for me, my adoption may not have happened but luckily Amy trusted them enough to also trust me. I have heard a lot about this agency before and since our adoption and know Amy Beam and all her fosters go above and beyond to help as many rescues as possible without compromising the care and attention each one gets. If I could afford more furbabies, this would be the first place I look for one.
So I had THE BEST DOG ever for 14 years... I got him when my oldest had just turned one... He took on three more babies after that and absolutely loved and adored my severely autistic son, and literally let that child lay on top of him without ever even making a sound of complaint... So I was extremely leery of trying to replace him... But my youngest wanted a dog again... And one day on Facebook here was a puppy needing a home that looked exactly like my last dog! I still was afraid to take that big leap... But the night Amy brought him over to meet us, Jake was walking up our walkway, heard a bunch of kids, ran in the door and snuggled into my daughters lap and was home... And we once again have THE BEST DOG ever...
We adopted a wonderful black lab mix from Amy's Adoptables. This group is very reputable and truly cares for the dogs, carefully placing them into homes that they feel are best for each dog. We will definitely contact them when it's time for another furry friend!
Amy and her team our amazing! We have adopted two dogs from her. She has a hugh heart and cares so much about the well being of the dogs! She is one of the greatest women I have ever met and am so happy that someone is out here advocating for the animals!
I adopted Rylee 5 years ago after Amy @ 911 dog Rescue rescued her & her litter mates, they were found in a box on the side of the road. 3 years ago I adopted my 2nd dog that Amy rescued from Missouri and saved from euthanasia. She and 911 rescue do an amazing job helping animals. Thank you!
My husband & I had just lost our border collie and we knew it was time to open our home to another dog. I spoke with family and friends and they recommended Amy. We did some research 1st and found a great group of volunteers. So in October 2014 we adopted Connor, after finding out he was living in a shelter in West Virginia. He's my walking partner, and he loves to play with his fuzz bone. He's just part of the family now.
We adopted Cookie 2 years ago and Amy went above and beyond to make sure that she was safe and ready to go to a loving home. Amy has so much love for animals and does such An amazing job making sure that the right people get her dogs. I love that she won’t just give them to anyone and takes time to interview family’s. Every time someone says they are looking for a dog I always recommend 911 Dog Rescue.
My puppy Rosie was acclimated to many things. Gage , carpet , tile and a you tube of a vacuum noise playing in their foster moms house. Well taken care of , current on vet needs and a free certificate for her to get fixed. Much more thought into getting the puppy ready than I would have even imagined. My 3rd straight rescue dog but my first from this group. By far the best of any I’ve been involved with.
Amy has such a big heart when it comes to dogs. She will always do what is best for the dog. 6 years ago my wife and I rescued our dog Benny. I used to have tons of questions over the first year. Amy was very patient with me and gave me tons of guidance.

we adopted Teddy 2 years ago. I saw his photo on Facebook from Kim and bombarded them with messages to see him. On April 1 st I got the call!! Come see him! I could not schedule a day fast enough. The way I was treated and Teddy was treated was phenomenal. She really cares about her animals and the new owners. I have to say, I am still so amazed and loving my new "son".

I’m so glad I found this rescue. I was able to get my dog out of the shelter a lot sooner, with the persistence of Amy. I was told it would take a week ( since the dog had puppy mange), but it took a day, because Amy worked her magic. She is very resourceful and helpful through the process of adopting, and after!
We have adopted two beautiful small dogs from 911 Dog Rescue that were going to be euthanized. The process was simple and when I met Amy who owns this rescue I realized what a big heart she has. My husband and I are so grateful that we have since started volunteering to assist the rescue! 911 Dog Rescue is one of the most honest nonprofit organization that I have encountered.

My fiancé JP& I rescued Rusty Croy in August of last year. He has been a much needed addition to our family. We rescued him from the prison program. Amy walked us through the entire process from start to finish and I still even send her updates to this day of Rusty! He had such an attitude in the prison and now, he is as sweet as pie. He loves to hang out with us, go on walks, loves Paw Patrol & music, & loves to go up to Marblehead. We lucked out meeting Amy. She is amazing & cares about all of the dogs. Thank you for giving us our furry friend!

I adopted an elderly dog who was deaf who would not have had a chance if this rescue had not assisted with me obtaining her...she lived her last few months being treated like a princess and she also helped me to get over the loss of my other dog. When she passed away I adopted a dog that others had deemed unadoptable...probably because of the stigma of her being part Pitbull and also because her motherly instincts to guard her puppies were originally taken as her being aggressive ....her name is Chloe. I met her and fell in love with her... I brought her home to my husband who was not an animal lover. But .
.lo and behold he fell in love with her too ! To make a long story short, Amy's adoptables helps not only the dogs but also the people that do the adopting have richer lives due to the unconditional love that these dogs display for having been saved...we couldn't do it without people who really cared about animals and who take time out of their lives to make all our lives better. Amy's adoptables is number one in my book!
We adopted Patrone (now Capone) and he has become an integral part of our family. Working with Amy and her fosters was a great experience.
