Golf Classic participant & sponsor. I enjoyed a great tournament at Knickerbocker Country Club, followed by a fun dinner at the cultural center. Everyone involved was kind and welcoming. I am interested in attending one of the monthly events with live music.

The Bergen Irish Association has been sponsoring lifesaving blood drives with Community Blood Services now Vitalant since 2002. They have collected a total of eight hundred and thirty six units of blood. Each unit helps to save three lives. The Bergen Irish Association has helped to save two thousand five hundred and eight lives in New Jersey. Truly amazing organization with wonderful members.

This is a wonderful association with varied group of members. Friends and members of the Bergen Irish support worthy causes and encourage all to participate in some capacity. The Kennedy Traditional Musician Ceili is energetic and social. The group is welcoming, and Mr. Kennedy is willing to teach anyone interested in learning Irish set-dancing.

I attend the Annual St. Patrick’s Day post parade party each year, and always have a wonderful time listening to live music & bag pipers. It is a great day for all! The Bergen Irish offer many community activities which I am happy to support. I look forward to the Annual Donegan/Flannigan Charity Bus Trip every October which raises awareness & funds for cancer research. A fun organization which offers something for everyone.

This organization makes such a positive impact with local charities and organizations in Bergen County. They are welcoming and generous offering competitive Gaelic Football for children age six-seventeen, with no fee for uniform, training, or game participation. The coaches are kind & nurturing mentors for the players who compete with teams in the Tri-state area.

The Bergen Irish is an excellent organization keeping Irish culture and traditions alive. They help support the community and have fundraisers, blood drives & scholarships. The organization supports local businesses and encourages their members to do the same. And they have been very active in supporting front line & health care workers during the pandemic.

The BIA is an organization founded by Irish immigrants and American born Irish to help support and preserve Irish culture in their Bergen County New Jersey community. The volunteers of the Association are a pleasure to work with and always willing to lend a hand or roll up there sleeves and donate blood at the annual blood drive. They host dances where the Irish music and dance are on full display. The proceeds of the dances and other social events are used to maintain the Cultural Center and provide the needed funds to donate to causes like stopping hunger and oppression due to poverty. The Bergen Irish annually donates to many causes such as healthcare relief in Haiti.
Volunteering in this Association has lead to life long friendships and pride in my Irish Culture.

My family & I have been a members of The Bergen Irish for many years. I enjoy the social events, community activities and working with affiliate, St. Joseph's Gaelic Football Club. This organization promotes Irish culture, music, and sport within Bergen County. Members are of all ages, Irish & American born. Every March, a St. Patrick's Day Gala honors members of the community for their outstanding achievements where Irish step dancers, and of course, our own Bergen Irish Pipe Band, entertain with exciting performances.
The Bergen Irish support many worthy causes in the area and have supported higher education with The Timmy Curtin scholarship program. The Bergen Irish offers a little taste of home, here in New Jersey.

I sponsored & attended the Annual Golf Classic at Knickerbocker Country Club which supports an education scholarship program. I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful golf course. Members of this organization informed me about the various programs that are offered to communities in Bergen County. Sponsors for this event were recognized on the course as hole sponsors, program journal, on social media and on the organization's website.
