Each year, Justice Assistance helps more than 1,000 individuals in RI, avoid the revolving door of criminal justice system that can have lasting negative effects. More than 90 percent of those who received and completed Justice Assistance services have turned their lives around, become law-abiding, employable citizens and have had their records expunged.

Global Bassolians for Development and progress is a meaningful nonprofit organization that help and undertaken lots of projects in Liberia, west Africa. <br><br>In 2022 and 2023 the organization donated school materials to various school across Liberia. What really motivated me about the organization is we prioritized education to the hardest levels for those that have the passion for the education.<br><br>Through the CEO efforts some money were raised from members and officials of the organization and we were able to purchased some non-food-items.

Esperanza Hope goes above and beyond for the people that they help. They are an amazing group of people who serve their community well. Their acts of service goes a long way as they uplift and bring hope to those in need

My volunteer experience with Caritas Smile was rewarding, enlightening, fun, meaningful and productive throughout every one of our beautiful days in and around Moncion. I went for a week as a teacher who brought along four high school seniors, and I not only loved my own Caritas Smile trip, but was thrilled at the learning, personal growth, joy, unforgettable adventures and reflection that each of the youth I traveled with gained from our time in Dominican Republic. Together we helped to build the foundation of a rural home off the grid in the hills and volunteered at a local elementary school. I was proud to watch my students tirelessly moving hundreds of cinder blocks across a yard, digging the foundation, and mixing concrete throughout two hot days without missing a beat. One afternoon we played soccer and ran art classes in the yard of a local school. On Three Kings Day I got to witness the joy of giving in my students as we drove around from one neighborhood to another, stopping when we saw kids and sending a few of our crew bounding out the door to hand each youth a gift, and wish them a great holiday. While we regularly worked hard, we relaxed daily by swimming in the river, dancing in town, boating in mangroves and the Caribbean, and welcoming each day with yoga and meditation on the roof overlooking an endless tree canopy (right before a gorgeous, fresh breakfast). Sixcia surrounds herself with staff, partners, friends and family who are filled with a spirit of generosity, positivity and a zest for life; and it is this team that ensures that the Caritas Smile experience will be wonderful for all.

ccap mental health experts helped me get out of a 5 year long depression without medications. In one year they listened and helped guide me. Also provided foods and other resources to help me get on my disability. <br>The also prepared my taxes for free for the past 5 years. They have many amazing people there that really are caring and helpful. They are more than just handing out food.love this place.

My church has teamed up with Hope of Life to serve the small community of El Oasis in Guatemala. My husband and I were part of a mission team sent by our church this past June. I cannot tell you the impact visiting Hope of Life had on our lives. The work they are doing is tremendous! Lives are being saved and changed every day. Their goal is to motivate and help at the same time. When you see a fourteen year old arrive at Hope of Life weighing fearful and weighing only 19 lbs., and within 24 hours has a smile on her face and is eating, it really lets you know that God has his hand in this mission and that their work is anointed by God. <br>To be blessed to be a part of this mission is incredible. We are returning in January. We are so looking forward to loving on the children in the orphanage and in the hospital again. Loving them is so important to their emotional and spiritual growth. We also look forward to seeing our Guatemala family in El Oasis.
