Causes: Community Service Clubs
Mission: The cherish families organization is committed to supporting people in under served communities by providing access to resources and services that empower individuals and families in being whole and making choices that work for their specific needs.
Target demographics: Members of polygamist communities who are victims of crime and/or in need of support services as they rebuild their lives.
Direct beneficiaries per year: More than 300 individuals and families. We provided more than 1400 individual services, more than 180 housing services, and created 20 cultural competence trainings.
Geographic areas served: Arizona and Utah
Programs: Advocacy Basic Needs Housing Services Family Resource Facilitators Counseling and Support Groups Education Legal Help Community Outreach and Events
