Programs: Section 8 - provides rental assistance payments to low and moderate income families and to tenants whose landlords rehabilitate their apartments. Rental subsidies were provided for 5,968 households.
veterans affairs supportive housing (vash) program - provides rental assistance for 441 homeless veterans.
weatherization - provides grants to low income housing families whose homes require work to ensure that they are energy efficient. 431 homes and apartments received energy conservation and other improvements, reducing annual energy use by $172,400.
