Hello my name is Alisha I am so greatful and honored to share this review on behalf of my entire family. I was given LYLS contact information and hesitantly reached out. I was unexpectantly but immediately given a response and able to express our current needs. Ellen and all her wonderful volunteers have become our "Familial Angels" Our family is in transitional housing and fallen on difficult times,nutritionally, monetarily as well as on going health struggles. Our multi-generational family dynamic is demanding and has been tested in ways I never imagined. Above and outside those of the covid epidemic. It's very humbling to be on then other side be on need while not able to be completely self-sufficient. Often times people struggle to find any resources or organizations that can offer timely assistance with out multiple demands, regulations or<br>extensive wait period on top of unescessary disclosures of personal information as proof of need. Let Your Light Shine is definitely unique in their mission statements of what they stand by but mostly importantly the Christ driven approach & manor they serve all their clients. I have never experienced a whole hearted readily available place of assistance with the comfort the only desire is to thoroughly connect any where you may be personally in your life. Being confident to express your struggles is generally within family and close friends that share your history. Ellen has this rare gift of reaching out in turn connecting in ways that you feel trust and believe her assistance comes with out hesitation or debt of any kind. She's motivated by her faith and the mannor that she respond is going to be personally focused. She builds appropriate relationships and her unwiting determination to make your life easier is genuinely priceless. You become confident you have someone that will do anything in her power to lesson life's burdens or find and direct you toward viable solutions. I have used food banks in the past and the quality, quantity and consistency of LYLS nutritional support far surpasses any other. We are all navigating our lives journey and the unexpected bumps in the road are now less daunting and easier with my partnership with LYLS. If you or any one you know is facing food insecurity or in need of a warm helping hand put your trust in this organization because everything they do is unconditionally heaven sent. We often travel the road with just barely a dim light in sight but with faithful charitable acts of kindness and a repitable non-profit such a this your journey will be shorter and that light will be clearly in sight and visible. We are so thankful to Ellen and her volunteers for the various forms of support and assistance you have provided. My children no longer worry or go with out choice of meals and snacks thru their help. We all look forward to any interaction with LYLS and my children look forward to participating in any upcoming cooking classes or special events. If you are in a pisition to support and organization look no further. You will be proud to partner with such an amazing program that is smaller but manages to offer opportunities for major support that directly impactacts and changes lives.

A World aware is a great help to our children's home. They are teaching our children about biblical life principles. This has caused a great change in our children's lives. They are more helpful to each other. They have learned how to teach the younger children. Even one of our children who moved back home said she would continue to help and teach younger children in her neighborhood.

Justice61 is an amazing organization. The work that is being done is impactful and is changing kids lives in such an amazing way. All of the employees, volunteers, contractors, and sponsors are wonderful and I am honored to be a part of Justice61!

I have had an excellent experience with MHWR! I knew that I wanted a Weim as soon as I bought my new home, and they were very accommodating. I fell in love with 8 week old "Mr. Green" who I just *had* to adopt. Poor guy had come in malnourished with weak hips and back legs. "Mr. Green" is now "Atlas" and is 6 months old. MHWR helped me through the whole process between vaccines and neutering. He is now much stronger, happy, and healthy!

Almost Home is where people of Brighton, CO and surrounding community can go for help with rental assistance, utility assistance and case management. They also have a shelter that is used when families are in need for temporary housing. Almost Home is a great asset to the community and helps so many families every year.
