TCKR is an amazing non-profit cat rescue.. I have needed their help when rescuing 2 kittens myself. The founder and staff go over and beyond to help cats. The shelter is well kept and one thing I noticed is the quality of care in the habitation for the cats. Everything is good condition and suitable for the cats and kittens to have great quality care. I'd also like to point out how kind and helpful the founder Lisa is, her staff is awesome also. I give when I am able, I wish I could give more. This rescue is much needed in our city and in our county. Please consider donating to this wonderful rescue!

Too Cute Kitten Rescue has had an incredible impact on the children at our vulnerable school in Uganda. Animal care is often overlooked in our community, but thanks to the heartfelt messages, advice, and ongoing support from Lisa and TCKR, we’ve seen a shift in attitudes toward pets.
The children now understand that all beings deserve love and compassion, and this has greatly influenced how they interact with animals. To honor the pets at TCKR, we’ve established a chicken coop with 50 chickens, which has not only become a joyful space for the kids to care for the animals but will also provide much-needed protein for their diet in the coming months.
We are immensely grateful to TCKR for helping us reach this milestone. The children are thrilled with the opportunity to engage with the chickens, and this has sparked a new love for animals within our community. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in our lives!!
*A Lifesaving Nonprofit for Kittens, Dogs, and Beyond*
I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the incredible work done by this nonprofit organization, and I am truly impressed by their dedication to rescuing and caring for kittens and dogs. Their mission goes beyond providing medical attention and shelter to these vulnerable animals. They also create lasting impact in ways that touch the lives of others, both locally and globally.
One heartwarming example is the way this organization has connected with children in Uganda. In memory of Carley, a beloved dog who was part of their rescue camp but sadly lost in an accident, the organization helped construct a chicken coop at a Ugandan school. They purchased chickens in Carley’s memory, with friends of the organization also contributing in remembrance of their own lost pets. These chickens will provide eggs to nourish the children and eventually offer meat to enhance their diet in the future.
This story is a beautiful testament to how the organization not only rescues animals but also enriches the lives of people around the world. The more people who know about and support this organization, the more lives—both animal and human—they can continue to touch. For anyone looking to make a difference, I highly recommend getting involved with this compassionate and far-reaching nonprofit.
She very good with animals and the dogs get along real good with the cats too and they’re all well trained she does a wonderful job. She has all the right equipment like incubator. The nursery set up nicely. The place is well taken care of and in good shape.
“Too Cute Kitten Rescue” tirelessly and patiently worked with me from beginning to end. they were very knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions and adopting a beautiful Persian cat with ringworm. It was my first time dealing with ringworm, but I wanted to save this beautiful kitty to give her her forever home the way she deserves. Now, Mumu lives with me in Hawaii and her brother and is thriving tremendously living her best life on Paradise!
Thank you, Too Cute Kitten Rescue! God bless you all.
Such a beautiful rescue and sanctuary for our community’s cats. Thank goodness for the incredible people who donate their time to making it such an incredible place for cats to thrive while waiting for their forever home. I'm so grateful I found this place.
Too Cute Kitten Rescue is an amazing rescue. But it goes beyond the scope of just a rescue some may see it is also a sanctuary for the lost , abandoned and ill kittens & cats found throughout the imperial valley. All employees & volunteers go above and beyond for every cat you see there. From feeding , grooming & medicating to finding temporary and permanent fosters
I got two kittens from Too Cute Kitten Rescue that I kept and had two friends also get kittens from them. The process was very easy. They were kind and answered any questions. Not only was the process easy they made sure I had what I needed for the cat as well like a bag of food and some toys.
I am a current employee and volunteer at TCKR and I don’t even know where to start, the rescue is family to me. They legitimately have saved my life and helped me with my mental health. I find it to be a healthy place to bring your children to expose the cats to being socialized and it helps you build a bond, my own kids have had the chance to hang out with the whisker babies and give some love. Not only do we make a difference by helping the cats but I feel like that once you involve yourself with TCKR, you just don’t want to leave. Joining in volunteering truly does make a difference with the fur babies. You make a difference by giving a helping hand in feeding and keeping their homes clean and sanitized. Keeping the cats happy and healthy and ready for their forever homes. I’ve come to acknowledge just how much a cat can make a difference in my life I’ve adopted 2 cats from TCKR, now known as Xena and Casper
TCKR is a great organization. I had adopted 2 fur babies from them and because of my daughter's health issues I couldn’t keep them. The rescue took them back with open arms. It was a very difficult decision for me since I really love those babies deeply but Lisa keeps me updated on whatever is going on with them and that makes the whole process more bearable. They do such a great job making sure all their fur babies are ok even with limited resources. They are great organization that deserves more support from the community.
This rescue is always going above and beyond to help kittens and any cat. They rescue the unwanted, surrendered, abandoned, sick, terminal, newborns, and abused cats that would otherwise be sentenced to a cruel death. Those running TCKR are the most compassionate a passionate animal advocates and rescuers I have ever met. TCKR is due recognition for the amazing work they do. Certainly, their dedication to helping control the overpopulation of stray cats in our community is admirable.
Too Cute Kitten Rescue is an amazing and essential part of the community! Not only has this organization rescued so many kitties, they have also provided much needed medical assistance and after care to those who required it. I am thankful I was able to be a part of the volunteer team for a short while! It was a wonderful experience to work with such a great group! Thank you, Too Cute Kitten Rescue, for all that you have done and continue to do!
They are the best. It's obvious they love what they do and they take amazing care of all their fur babies!
TCKR is amazing. The level of care that goes to all cats in their rescue is unmatched, they are all loved and are not caged. I love that when you go to adopt a cat, you are greeted by the “resident” cats and dog! It’s one of a kind.
Adopted 3 kitty's from them. When one got sick shortly after they rushed him to the vet to try to save him. TCKR went above and beyond to try to help my little buddy. The two in the picture, Penny and Hecate were best buds and needed to stay together. Unfortunately, Heaters did not make it. The people at Too Cute Kitten Rescue helped me so much though with him. Penny was born sickly as well and gets colds so often. They would help with providing medication if needed for her! Bob the big clown is so cuddlely and loving. These additions to the family have meant so much thanks to Too Cute Kitten Rescue!
This is a great little cat rescue company that has help so many kittens and families in Imperial Valley. And all this their doing with very limited financial resources. The owner Lisa Keck has been putting her personal money and endless sleepless nights taking care and feeding kittens.
Please support Too cute kitten rescue. They have a big task taking care of kittens with limited financial resource and manpower.
They have excellent, professional knowledge and experience in kitten and cat rescue care.
Lets support your local Too cute kitten rescue.
I have fostered for and adopted from Too Cute Kitten Rescue. This is the most caring and hard working group of people. They do everything they can to provide care and comfort to these neglected animals in our community. They spend many hours each week having adoption events to find loving homes and those that aren’t adopted have a safe, forever home at the rescue.
When I first adopted a bonded pair, I had never had a cat. The staff at Too Cute Kitten Rescue was there to answer all my questions even after I took them home. As time passed I adopted 2 more (total 4) and I also became familiar with how much they do for all cats. They rescue kittens who have lost their momma, mommas who are about to birth, injured cats, ill kitties and today I learned they have a hospice. In this hospice they give terminal cats dignity and love in their last days. I cannot imagine the toll it takes emotionally and financially to help and rescue so many cats, many who perish in spite of all their efforts. The staff is constantly nurturing and caring for all ages of cats as well as finding suitable fosters for kittens. I have never seen such selflessness than I witness from the staff at TCKR, they hold regular day jobs and still manage to care and love all cats. I truly hope they win, I attached a photo of kittens who lost their momma and TCKR took them in without hesitation.
Too Cute Kitten not only helps out the community kitties but also helps us fur parents in desperate times of need. Here in the valley sometimes it’s hard to get an appointment with a vet and the staff really goes out of their way with lots of knowledge, tips, and even medicine to help out. In my case 3 years ago new cat mom I was so scared but Lisa truly helped my baby survive. We Love you TCK and we appreciate your love and dedication.
Volunteering at the cat shelter was truly heartwarming. Each visit brought joy as I interacted with a variety of cats in need, including a shy one named Whiskers. Working alongside dedicated volunteers, we provided care, companionship, and found loving homes for these cats. It was a powerful lesson in compassion and the remarkable bonds between people and animals.
Absolutely loved the care they provide to their pets. They are very welcoming and knowledgeable at the rescue. I was able to adopt my first little kitten from the rescue and they were readily available to me when I came to them with questions after the adoption. They have stayed constant throughout my contact with them. Even now with thinking about adopting a second cat, they have been so helpful and understanding to the situation. I really appreciate all they do in the rescue.
Too cute kitten is a non profit organization and I’ve had had an awesome experience with them through out the years. Something I love about them is the hard honest working people that work and volunteer at too cute kittens. Their dedication to the animals just goes above and beyond. I’ve had had the need to contact the volunteers at late hours at night and they are always friendly and willing to help. I wish we could do more for them they are always in need of funds and resources. I’m glad that I have been able to work with them and I’m happy to see their are good people still that truly care about the health and well being of the innocent animals.
