Casting for Recovery gave me my sparkle back. Breast cancer can be deeply isolating, and even in remission, it remains part of daily life through ongoing monitoring and treatment. Casting for Recovery gave me something I didn't realize I was missing: connection, joy, and a chance to focus on something else. For three days, life wasn't about appointments, scans, future surgeries, or what comes next. It was about being outdoors, learning to fly fish, laughing, sharing stories, and quite literally standing in a river to get current with life again. I left with friendship, hope, community, and some sparkle back. Casting for Recovery reminded me that there is still room for joy, adventure, and healing after breast cancer. I am deeply grateful for the experience, the volunteers and guides who made it possible, and the women I met along the way, plus I hooked 20 trout and landed 13, which was exciting for a first-time flyfisherwoman!!!

I started supporting CAI after a Quaker relative told me about Three Cups of Tea, and I read that. I've attended couple of their DC events, including one featuring an Army officer who had worked with them in Afghanistan, and continue to believe in their focus on education, especially girls' education, in remote places where that makes the most difference, and is among the most difficult to negotiate and manage. And I do mean focus - it seems to me CAI has done a good job resisting mission creep. They have a niche that is not being met by others. <br><br>I wish far more of US dollars in Afghanistan and surrounding regions had gone to such efforts. Perhaps that's impossible, as such outreach requires personal connections building up trust and letting local people lead.

Deeply committed staff with relevant experience and essential skills continue to improve the already significant, life changing outcomes they are delivering to our warriors. We are blessed to be a part of this fine organization. More than just the veterans gain in profound ways from the meticulously organized and professionally executed programs!

When Sudoc was selected as a Top-Ten Nature Inspired Innovation by The Biomimicry Institute, I had no idea of the power their programming would bring to us. First of all, by taking this group of founders to the Redwoods of Northern California provided a natural space to reflect on the development of our company with others in the same crazy start-up game. To retreat with such insightful folks opened up space to see our company in a different light and bring our themes of nature to the fore of our commercial approach. The Sudoc story is a nature story and The Biomimicry Institute helped us to understand ourselves in more powerful ways. Forever grateful.

I graduated from there sober living program and am now a manager of the women's house. This program completely changed my life and the life of my family. They went above and beyond so many times. They showed me the love of christ and really loved me where I was at when I needed it the most. If you really want to change your life their recovery program is the absolute best. I struggled with my addiction for so long and now am 3 years clean.

I’m so glad Bozeman has such an amazing nonprofit to help address senior isolation around Bozeman! They are extremely caring to their seniors and volunteers, and care about making happy and long lasting matches. Additionally, they offer so many great extra activities each month for the befrienders community to take part in!

The Emerson Center here in Bozeman is a great addition to the community as it is place where one can partake in an array of events and activities. From art and cooking classes to concerts, dances, exhibits and more-there is always something for everyone to enjoy. The staff members are organized, professional, and a pleasure to work with while ensuring that all events are a huge success.

I am the Executive Director of a nonprofit that has been partnered with Hopa Mountain since early 2021 to help provide warm winter hats to elementary aged school children. As a partner, I am impressed with the ease of communication with the leadership, how they respond to donations they receive from our volunteers and the overall way in which we are able to work together. This is a well run organization who clearly cares about it's mission and does an excellent job and fostering relationships with partners who can help them.

PBI is just the best. I've had the incredible opportunity to spend several weeks with them in Canada doing educational work with Polar Bears. They are made up of the most kind, genuine people, committed to doing the work for all the right reasons. You feel so special when you are with them and you learn so much. Such an inspirational nonprofit to support. Follow their social media to learn about all the events they do throughout the year, with groups ranging from zoos to eco-tourists.

World class opera right here in Bozeman, Montana! Quality productions, professional guest artists, and great community outreach programs make Intermountain top notch!

Amazing nonprofit where everyone except one person volunteers their time so that almost 100% of the money raised goes to the children they serve.

About 50% of the revenues go towards wages & salaries. Too much of the revenues goes towards keeping the coalition in existence instead of promoting and preserving Yellowstone. The bicycle tour is outstanding but the revenues.

The Craighead Institute keeps their heads down and works their butts off. Their science is solid and renowned, and they absolutely deserve this rating.

I love the vision of American Prairie Reserve, and its new membership program makes me feel like I can truly be a part of building the biggest park in the Lower 48 — even at just $10 a year. I'm taking my family up there this summer and staying at Buffalo Camp... can't wait!

I have had the privilege of working with and through CFK in Ukraine and Africa. They are just what their title suggests: a catalyst in bring people together to help minister the most vulnerable and assist the local church in Ukraine and Africa in carrying out their ministry to widows and orphans. This is one non-profit that exemplifies the word integrity whether it be in handling their finances or in their relationships with others. The impact their ministry has had and is having is outstanding. God has blessed their labors because of their desire to glorify Him in whatever they do.

I’m not planning to become a pastor, but I chose to study theology at Yellowstone Theological Institute because I want a clear, Christ-centered foundation as I pursue a future in biology. Even though I’ve only taken a few classes so far, the impact has already been life-changing.<br><br>Dr. Millhouse has shown me what it truly looks like to follow God’s call, even when it involves risk and uncertainty. Dr. Schendel has taught me to think more clearly and deeply about Christ, and through that, I’ve discovered a new passion for church history and meaningful theology. Dr. Long has guided me in what it means to be a thoughtful and faithful leader. Dr. Desper has taught me to approach spiritual disciplines like prayer and Scripture with a heart that longs to know God more. And Dr. Smith has shown me the beauty of generosity and what it means to truly consider perspectives beyond my own.<br><br>The professors at YTI are more than educators. They are mentors who shape lives with humility, wisdom, and compassion. If I were to stop my studies today, I could honestly say my life has already been forever changed for the better. The work being done at Yellowstone is deeply important. It is forming disciples, strengthening the Church, and equipping people from all walks of life to follow Christ with conviction and clarity. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom.

My son and I entered Family Promise in 2013. I am a single mom and my son was 3-6 months old at the time. While in the program we were provided with classes: budgeting and parenting were two I appreciated most. We were also assigned a case manager that helped us stay confident in achieving our goals. While at the churches we were treated with the up most respect. I have no idea where my life would have taken me if Family Promise wasn't an option!

I began teaching classes for the HRDC Road to Home program in 2007. Being a real estate agent, I knew there was a great need to educate both current and future buyers about the home buying process. The Road to Home HRDC sponsored program I feel is an integral part of getting to know the ins and outs of home ownership. I have had the opportunity to meet with families who never thought they would ever be able to afford a home and I have personally been able to help them achieve their dreams of home ownership. <br> <br>What I like about HRDC is that they give a hand up and NOT a hand out. I like the accountability aspect of the HRDC programs. The staff help people to plan and budget their finances which in turn help them to prepare TO BE SUCCESSFUL home owners. In order to succeed, the clients need to take steps toward self sufficiency and the classes, pre-assessments and credit counseling prior to home ownership assist with achieving successful homeownership! <br> <br>The last 7 years I've personally seen 50+ people achieve home ownership that never thought they could with the programs and financial backing of HRDC. This is particularly important in a community like Bozeman where the cost of living is so high and the goal of being a home owner is bleak for many people. I've donated my time to a variety of programs and I've always been impressed with how committed and compassionate the staff are to this community, which reinforces my enthusiasm and commitment to work with HRDC. The staff have passion for what they do and are constantly looking for ways to improve existing and future programs. They are very forward thinkers! <br> <br>I KNOW the monetary donations I've made over the years have gone to a wonderful cause and I cannot think of a better organization to donate too. I did not have a good experience with Sunny Rae Yokim with All In Fiduciary Services in Bozeman, Montana. She was assigned as a payee for me on my social security. Being a retired accountant I am well aware of budgeting, in fact I have lived within my means for years. Upon my first meeting with Ms. Yokim, she informed me she and her husband were in awful credit card debt. It surprised me (since I don't even have credit cards) that this woman was assigned to me, but I had no choice. Not only was she rude, she acted as if my money was her money. I realized right away she had no idea how to live within a budge. I would not recommend Sunny Rae Yokim to anyone. Becky K. White, Billings MT (formerly of Bozeman, MT).

I am a proud member of YF, their staff is extremely dedicated and passionate about the park. If you have a chance to experience a YF institute course or attend a YF hosted event in the park, DO IT! The Cody Dieruf foundation helps children and adults with cystic fibrosis. My niece was born with CF and this foundation has been able to help with medication costs and research. They even partner with organizations like the Montana Ballet Company to get kids with CF scholarships to start ballet because physical health is very important if you have CF. They offer counseling to parents who have a child with CF because the parents may outlive their child. They sponsor fund raising events and an annual Mother's Retreat. They just do so many great things! I support them 100%.

It has been an extreme pleasure working with the MMA. The passion each individual brings to mentorship and creating a web of knowledge that will create a safer and more inclusive generation of mountain lover is unique. The most impactful part of the MMA in my eyes is the JMT. <br> <br>The Junior Mountaineering Team gives enthusiastic kids the tools they need to explore their local mountains and the adventures that lay beyond: to teach them to be alpinists. While this mission may have a clear technical focus, the impact that the Junior Mountaineering Team has on its participants goes far beyond learning about ropes, knots, and climbing technique. This program instills not only a rich aesthetic appreciation for the natural environment but also helps participants gain a deeper awareness about their own inner landscapes and their inter-relatedness to the Earth and those around them. Through an amalgamation of all that is experienced and learned throughout this program, the ultimate objective of the Junior Mountaineering Team is to develop community leaders with a critical consciousness of the essential facets of life.

This is truly a remarkable organization and a gift to Bozeman and Montana. MTREP is nimble and can respond to social justice issues readily (such as when white supremacist/nazi flyers were distributed in Bozeman) but they also host trainings, seminars and a book club for ongoing education on race and social justice. In other words, they are great with both quick responses and on-going investment. I can't say enough about this group. MTREP has helped me and my understanding of race and privilege more in the one year (that I've known about them) than all of the years of my life added together. This is absolutely true! They are very effective and mind-opening. Executive Director Judith Heilman, a brilliant, engaged and candid person, was recently honored as the recipient of the 2017 Jeannette Rankin Award by the ACLU. This is a great organization and well worth investment!
