The Penatuhkah Comanche Indians once lived where I live. They roamed The Leon and Sabana river lands just like I do when I hunt here. I joined the Trails Partnership to promote the area around me to others with similar interests in the history of this land. This new and exciting trail is just being designed. I live in De Leon Texas. We are near the camps and trails of Penatahkah chiefs "Old Owl" and "Buffalo Hump". The trail runs through the towns of Comanche, Goldthwaite, Brady, Santa Anna, Paint Rock, and others. <br>Join us to learn about "Marker Trees" ( saplings bent over and tied down to point to Springs, camps, rivers, etc. A few still exist today 150 years later. Smoke signal high points. And many more interesting sites along the way. Like Paint Rock and their wonderful rock paintings and the high points of the Santa Anna Mountains. <br> The picture is a Tree near De Leon that has not been verified but is what a Marker Tree might look like today. The coordinates are a county road. The tree is on private land.

This place is a scam!! I was trying to find a home for my french mastiff. At first a women named Laura reached out and seemed professional. She sent me paperwork and said they would follow up to figure out some dates and times we were available . Then today out of nowhere she messages me to come get my dog RIGHT now. I told her I am not home or available and she wanted to send someone to me parents where she is to get her without me. I said I wanted to say goodbye and she said I was not entitled to that. I asked for their non for profit tax ID to reassure myself this was real as that raised a red flag for me and she said if I need to keep asking questions they aren't the Rescue for me and to go somewhere else. She told me they are very selective and only take french mastiffs and french bulldogs at a location in Anna tx. First of all there aren't many french mastiffs around here. I told her throwing something last second on me was not the plan and she said I should be grateful and she voulenteers and somehow I had wasted her time as she threw something on me last second?? I wanted to know who the head of the organization was and why the phone number she called me from was not on the website. She said they wont give their info to the public..but there is a number on the website??<br> She also said she was the head and secretary of the organization which contradicts what she previously said and there was no one else to talk to. I either give my dog to "someone" RIGHT now or they won't help me. Red flags everywhere...this is a scam. Nothing added up. If this is a rescue it's the most pathetic backwards twisted narcissistic organization I've ever seen and you need to keep your dog away from it. FYI she said I could lookup their tax ID and wouldn't provide it.. interesting. Like I said, SCAM

Although she is a young CEO she is very big at heart and helping. I moved into my home over a year ago. My daughter and I only had the clothes we had left after losing everything. Aniah’s empowered angles donated so many clothes and shoes to my daughter words can’t even describe the feeling she gave my daughter and I. She didn’t stop there a few weeks later I received a knock at the door and when I opened it was her with a brand new 8 piece dinning room set and a bed for my daughter, brought tears to my eyes. I love what God is blessing and allowing this young lady to do for her community and I will continue to support anything that she does. She gives from such a genuine place and you don’t find that in most people her age. I will scream from rooftop to let everyone know about her and her organization. Christmas is around the corner and every year she gives clothes, shoes, toys, hygiene items etc to all the families that are need. I am so proud of Aniah and I pray that her organization blossoms into one of the best nonprofit organizations there is because by doing so she is helping so many families and I feel that’s what we should all do be there for one another.
