Last week I came here to get help paying my utility with the Energy help program. Edna and Traci were so helpful, patient and kind. They made me feel so welcome and not a bother at all. I also had the privilege of meeting a volunteer named Flo. Flo is a human angel right alongside Edna and Traci. Flo gave me a flyer for an upcoming event. Traci and Edna helped me complete the utility help that I needed. I feel so blessed that I had their help, kindness and services.<br><br>

AIER provides me with some of my best reading material in its monthly Research Reports. AIER helps me know what is really going on in our nation’s economy, one of my favorite out-of-school subjects.

Serving as a board member for the STREAM (StrengThening Race and Equity in Asset Management) Foundation has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The foundation's mission to bridge the gap in industry representation by supporting students from underrepresented groups truly resonates with me. It's inspiring to be part of an organization that not only educates and trains the next generation of asset management professionals but also opens doors through scholarships, mentorships, and internships.<br><br>Seeing the tangible impact we have—whether it's through a student securing an internship or a mentee gaining confidence in navigating their career path—has reinforced the importance of our work. It’s a privilege to collaborate with other dedicated board members, all working toward the shared vision of fostering equity and opportunity within an industry that desperately needs both. Every effort we put forth feels meaningful, knowing we're actively contributing to creating a more inclusive future in asset management.

CSE has done many effective studies of impact on localities with the implementation of land value taxation. They have conducted many research studies for localities throughout the country. Here in Connecticut, where I live, CSE has raised the awareness of land value taxation as a viable option through several studies, testifying at legislative hearings and working with other groups. CSE worked extensively in New London and Hartford. They were a key player in getting legislation passed that enabled up to three cities to implement land value taxation.

A supposedly charitable org that puts out FAKE EVICTION notices terrorizing and traumatizing families and for their own $ gains should have their nonprofit status revoked. (http://bit.ly/2aHxWih )

The Trinity Foundation is one of the few organizations that are actually changing lives. Having the ability to incorporate aviation, leadership, and academic education into the lives of challenged youth and succeed with an outstanding success rate is awe-inspiring. The Trinity Foundation takes a poverty stricken life and transform <br>it through the training of aviation and aerospace. This is not just another flight school.

Our chapter is a part of QWAFAFEW Worldwide and has established its own rules, traditions, and financing arrangements. We hold regular meetings with presenters. Please visit our website pages where we share next meeting announcement, past events and plans for for the future. <br> <br>About San Francisco QWAFAFEW <br> <br>QWAFAFEW is an informal organization of quantitatively oriented professionals in various aspects of financial services (primarily investment management). The group was formed a number of years ago to provide a venue for quantitative researchers to discuss their evolving work with peers. As the field has become more "main stream" our membership has also broadened. Our membership includes a wide variety of interests and levels of responsibility. The members span the gamut from owners and senior executives of investment related organizations to recent entrants to the industry. Most attendees have some technical training beyond the M.B.A. level, and many have Ph.D.s All share a common interest in quantitative solutions to understanding investment markets. <br> <br>QWAFAFEW meetings are somewhat informal with a mix of social and intellectual content. Presentations are expected to be interactive (after a reserved period of at least 5 to 10 minutes for the speaker to present foundation material). Sometimes the interaction requires a kick-start. Typically, in keeping with the informal nature of the group, speakers use hand-outs in addition to projection devices. <br> <br>Typically, the monthly meetings are attended by 20 to 30 professionals, although some topics have drawn more attendees. Meetings start with members arriving at around 5:30 in order to chat with friends and enjoy the snacks and drinks that are provided free of charge.

CEE changed my life and the way I deliver economic knowledge to my students. My students appreciate the lessons, the examples and "no boring way of learning". Mexico hasn't started a financial and economic literacy program. So the everybody appreciates knowldge in this subject. <br>CEE work is very inspiring and if Latinamerican countries can include or adopt their standards, i bet we can leave in a different contient. The primary purpose of CERGE from the beginning has been to educate the future economic elite in the former Soviet bloc countries and to place graduates at IMF and IBRD. This was to be achieved through creating an American style PhD program with emphasis on research. The success has been remarkable! Cerge has produced more than 100 PhDs and, in my opinion, established a reputation for reserach on the level of top 50 US graduate schools of economics. Its graduates are dispersed throughout former Soviet bloc countries as well as in western Europe and USA. Given the intial circumstances in the Czech republic, I would consider it a miracle!
