As a donor I appreciate the Pittsburgh Food Bank's ability to funnel such a high percentage of donations to the community. The website is very easy to use to make a donation, find information or volunteer. I have attended several different Pittsburgh Food Bank events such as a wine dinner at Eleven, Empty Bowl and several events where there are canned food donations encouraged. They get the donation word out in so many imaginative ways. All this being said the MOST IMPORTANT aspect of the Pittsburgh Food Bank is the THOUGHTFUL and RESPECTFUL way they serve the community.
