Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank
February 9, 2011
I work for a local Head Start Program and we often refer our families to the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank. These are difficult times for many of our families and those with small children often doubly effected. Young children need nutritious food to develop and grow strong. Our families have experienced wonderful results from being working with the food bank. Our program often refers families to local food banks who receive their food supplies from the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank. The Food Bank has a terrific reputation in the community and have expanded to reach many more counties. Their strength is in their ability to serve many communities and also the quality of the food products that the food bank receives from their resources. There are many of our families that would go hungry without the resources of the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank.

THE FAMILIES WE SERVE IN OUR PROGRAM REPORT THEIR SATISFACTION WITH THE FOOD PRODUCTS THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED FROM THE GREATER PITTSBURGH FOOD BANK.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would continue to recruit volunteers to support the mission of the agency.
