Review for Kids Beating Cancer, Winter Park, FL, USA
When my son was diagnosed with CML in 2007 and we were told he needed a bone marrow transplant I didn't know where to turn. I contacted Kids Beating Cancer and spoke to Adele. Insurance wouldn't pay for family and friends to be tested as a potential match for Matty. KBC set up donor drives for family and friends to be tested. Not only for Matthew, but any child needing a life saving bone marrow transplant. We are very honored to be part of the Kids Beating Cancer family. Margaret, Adele, Cecelia and all the people at KBC work hard every day for children needing a bone marrow transplant. I can never thank them enough for what they have done for Matthew and our family.

My son was diagnosed with CML in 2007 and we were told he needed a bone marrow transplant. His insurance paid to test his sister and brother who were not a match. That's when we discovered Kids Beating Cancer. They tested our family and friends at one of their donor drives with no cost to us. They give a wonderful Holiday Party for the children, and they actually get to forget all about their illnesses and treatments for the day. The whole staff is wonderful.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The help and support they have given to my son and family. We would never have been able to pay the costs to have family and friends tested to see if they were a match for my son.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
None. They are a wonderful organization, dedicated to children with cancer and other blood disorders.
