Review for Mercy Medical Angels, Virginia Beach, VA, USA
I have been involved with this group for over 10 years, and have stuck with it because it is such a worthy charity. Formerly known as Mercy Medical Airlift, they changed their name because they expanded their mission of compassion to ground transportation as well. They are also heavily involved in helping my fellow veterans. They manage many Angel Flight operations connecting private pilots who want to fly, with patients who need to get to a distant facility; they broker donated airline seats and frequent flier miles for patients who need more distant care; and they provide gas cards to help with ground transportation. All around a very effective charity.

MMA has grown from simply organizing local pilots to help transport needy patients, to a nationwide system of air and ground transportation for veterans, families of wounded heroes, and disaster response, as well as the core mission of helping the needy. This growth and the financial support that propels it, indicates the need for the service and the excellence with which it is provided!

Review for Mercy Medical Angels, Virginia Beach, VA, USA
Here is a recent testimony: “I am writing to express my sincere thanks and gratitude for the role you played in providing me with two airline tickets so my husband and I could receive treatment a thousand miles away from home. Without your support, my husband, who suffered severe brain damage and nerve injuries, would not have been able to undergo his recent surgery to improve his overall quality of life.”
