WOODSTOCK FARM ANIMAL SANCTUARY
April 18, 2011

I discovered WFAS through their ThanksLiving event, a meat-free alternative to Thanksgiving. I have never felt such a warm welcome and overwhelming peace so instantly, and so consistently ever since. From the moment one steps onto that magical swath of land ringed by the Catskill mountains, where compassion rules, the love vibration is palpable. Jenny and Doug and the fantastic staff are all great people who truly live the mission. Each animal has an opportunity to heal in a supportive environment that enables their individualities to come out, making them so endearing that you'll never forget them. The great levelers, these very aware and thankful creatures bring together visitors and volunteers of all ages, areas and outlooks to experience a new sense of being, another way of existence, an approach to life based on respect for ourselves, our fellow earthlings and the journey we all share.

The Great!
