Review for Minis and Friends, Austin, TX, USA
We have been associated with the Minis and Friends Group since it's inception. Sally and Gil have put their hearts and souls into this group and the love that they have for the people they help comes through in all that they do.
My son was 15 when we had an opportunity to go on a visit with they group for the first time, on Feb 14, 2009. It was a visit to a place providing "residential care, education, and training for adults with various cognitive challenges". At then end of the 2 hour visit he was getting back in the van when I asked him, "Did you have fun?"
His reply floors me, "Dad, that was life changing".
What more can I say.

I have watched as my children and I have become better people because of our association with Minis and Friends. We have learned about people who are different than us, who may not be blessed in the same way that we are, but live lives of blessed people.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would love to see this group go on more outings with more people who can help with the visits.
