To say, Surprise Lake Camp is a family tradition, is an understatement See, my parents were counselors in the summer of '69 on teenside. That summer changed their lives forever. They met, fell in love and two years later they were married. This year they will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. In 1977, I was born and then my sister in 1980. Being part of this organization shaped me into the person I am today. I learned to be an independent person at SLC. In addition, I have a love of Judaism

I would not make any changes. SLC has been around since 1902. They change with the times, and continue to stick to their core values and mission statement. What other camp do you know that has been around over 100 years?
