Review for Friends of Saguaro National Park Inc, Tucson, AZ, USA
I give Friends of Saguaro National Park a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The organization actively pursues opportunities to partner with local educators (University of Arizona) to facilitate research and provide educational opportunities at various levels. Educating younger generations about our local natural resources is the best way to encourage long-term existence of the Saguaro National Monuments. The upcoming partnership with National Geographic, BioBlitz, is a wonderful sucess story of the groups ability to partner and raise the education level in the community.

My 2.5 year old daughter has had wonderful experiences at the park by learning about animals, plants, and hiking trails. Interest in the natural environment is installed at a young age.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Provided more educational opportunities and funding to bus school group to the parks. FOSNP already funds some bussing activities; however, a deeper impact is possible with additional support.
