The Japan Society is a cultural organization serving the New York city community with an extensive schedule of cultural events and activities, including Japanese language classes. Rather than a charity in a traditional sense, it is a non-profit organization that provides an excellent service to both the Japanese expatriate community and anyone with an interest in Japan. I have attended several of their events over the years and enrolled in their language classes - all of which I found to be of high quality and affordable.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Maintaining a connection with Japan and increasing my proficiency in the Japanese language

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Find a way to give them more space to expand their cultural offerings - but actually, things probably work fairly well there as is.

Client Served & Attended language classes, visited art exhibits, attended film series.
