I have supported MUD for some years mostly because I believe that a sustainable planet begins with sustainable communities and MUD works for that end. Also, I am a believer in teaching people to grow their own food not only supports and empowers them, it creates a community that is less dependent on systems of handouts. Lastly they do a great job of collaborating with other organizations whose missions are likewise directed at building community, one family at a time.
