This non-profit raises money for sarcoma research- which is a very underfunded cancer research area and therefore there isn't much known about it and there aren't many treatments for it. It was started by a passionate, driven, enthusiastic cancer survivor and she is inspirational! All the money raised goes to sarcoma research and the events are fun! So far I've been involved in a 5K fun run and a sailing race. The events are well organized and interesting.

provide competitive grants to sarcoma researchers at various cancer research institutions or set up a designated sarcoma research lab.

Volunteer & I helped out at the annual 5K Beatsarcoma fun run in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and I'm helping with the BeatSarcoma Cup race.
