Review for The Jazz Gallery, New York, NY, USA
When I think of the Jazz Gallery I think of cutting edge music, experimentation with fusion no matter the types of music, and community. When I moved to New York City in 2004, the Jazz Gallery was not only a place that I frequented often to check out great music, but it was also where I played my first gig in New York. I have always felt a great sense of family within the organization, which makes the audience feel comfortable while listening, and pushes the musicians to try new things with no fear of being judged.
