Review for North Hills Community Outreach Inc, Allison Park, PA, USA

As a resident of the North Hills community, I've know about NHCO for many years and have regularly donated groceries, clothing, coats and money to this very worthwhile organization. Last year, after retiring, I began to volunteer there for a variety of special projects. My eyes were opened even further when I saw first hand the wonderful services these dedicated people perform. For example, giving emergency counseling and help to desperate people; providing back-to-school supplies to hundreds of needy area children, and warm winter coats to children and adults alike. And of course operating the year-around food pantry which feeds so many. This is a first-class operation, through and through.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

try to duplicate its model throughout the country. It is a winner.

Role:  General Member of the Public & I helped sort, assemble and distribute school backpacks, helped sort and distribute winter coats, worked in the office to schedule these events, and did other things. .
