HOPE is a wonderful rescue that is truly that...an organization devoted to the rescue and wellness of animals. The team works together in numerous ways to find the right forever homes for homeless animals. In addition, the group is dedicated to education and to helping our community at large. I am blessed to be part of such a great group!

My husband and I have been HOPE volunteers for years now. We primarily assist with cat adoption outreach at our local Petco, but occasionally assist with other events. We are proud to work with such a dedicated, caring group of people and an organization which continually promotes adoption, health and wellness, and education.

I have been a volunteer with HOPE for 4 years and am so proud of that! Our group is led by someone who owns her role and the responsibilities that come with it. With her leadership and the passion and commitment of the entire group, we have made amazing accomplishments in our community including increasing adoption rates, having a new shelter built, and increasing public awareness. Great job to everyone!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

our new animal shelter, set to open in a few months and our increasing adoption faire numbers.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

do exactly what Margaret does: establish myself as a leader in adoptions, advocacy, and education and keep the entire group informed of related issues, both on a community and state/national level.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the passion this group shares to help animals in more ways than just finding great forever homes.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

passionate, dedicated and trully a team!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

save countless animals' lives through advocacy, education, spay/neuter, and adoption!

Ways to make it better...

not applicable.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

money, of course, and the lack of community education/support. It's hard to end animal suffering when thousands of unwanted kittens, puppies, etc. are born because someone couldnt be bothered to spay/neuter their pet.

One thing I'd also say is that...

HOPE is a great team and deserves to win!
